sweetgreen - Healthy Salads, Bowls and Plates — Restaurant in Watertown

Hi! I don't usually leave reviews, but I wanted to say I was super pleased with the service here! I went around 7 PM on July 28. I have never been to Sweetgreen before, and the place was super, super busy. I have worked in the service industry for a long time, and totally understood! I waited a while to order a build my own salad from the counter, and the man taking my order had to pause taking my order to also work the register (totally understandable!). I also wouldn't usually say this, but the people behind me were also being rather rude to the staff and I felt very bad for them. When I went to pay, the staff said it was on them for being so patient during the rush and not complaining about the wait! I usually get cheap fast food on my way home from night class, and this was the first time splurging on something more fancy for just a regular night. It was seriously such a great experience, and I wanted to say a huge thank you to the staff members who did that for me and showing me such kindness. Do not ever ever ever ever ever ever ever order online from this establishment. 4 times I have ordered. They have messed up my order completely. Has put the wrong order into the wrong bag and is only operated through doordash. Which is also the least helpful thing possible. Literally like what if someone has a serious allergy and is impacted by the mistake. There is no thought or care in this establishment and I still cannot believe this store is still open with the amount of complaints from it. Literally go to gigis or support a local spot because this chain is becoming just as diluted as a McDonalds.

Edit: it's been a year, and they still cannot get it right. They gave me an order that was for a different Thomas. Literally ended up getting a whole other hot honey plate for free. And today they didn't give me any dressing so I'm just eating dry kale LOL

Sadly nothing has changed. Do not order Delivery from this location because they will mess something...

I want to order here more often, but this is the worst Sweetgreen location. I've ordered here multiple times over the course of the past year and every order was wrong except for the two times I watched them because I ordered in-store. Every other order completely was missing at LEAST one ingredient, like half of 2x chicken, sweet potatoes, all dressings, a lemon slice, or the bread.

The ingredients that do make it into my order are good and fresh, except for quinoa has been horribly cooked and one big hard lump before (this quinoa issue might have been resolved).

The bowl is also very dirty sometimes, like they never switch gloves after they get them completely greasy.

A few times, my pickup order was also severely delayed while they kept taking in-store orders, my order was delayed by more than 15 minutes.
