I have been frequenting Wicked Bagel Watertown for the past 6 months. Let me just say upfront that giving them a 5-star review is already an understatement of how well they cook, serve, and maintain the restaurant. Above all else, these days if I can ever find a place with good service and friendly staff, I look no further. The staff here at wicked bagel are wicked kind and friendly. I’ve gotten to know each and everyone of them and seeing them first thing in the day has been a highlight of my long work weeks! The bagels here are made efficiently the day of but prestocked so you rarely have to wait. It’s amazing how they place all the bagel machines and conveyor belts right in front of you behind glasses so you can always see what’s going on behind the scenes. The flavors of the bagels are on point and the sandwiches are generously filled with bacons/sausages/eggs/cream cheese or whatever you choose! The many sandwich options and the make your own option never had me yearning for anything beyond the menu. It’s also AMAZING that they sell dozen bagels after 1:00 or 2:00 pm. Their cream cheeses are also quality so can’t go wrong. My personal favorite is strawberry cream cheese on French toast bagels AND chive cream cheese on pumpernickel bagel double toasted. Today I decided to post a review for the first time of the place after I tried their steak bomb sub. WHAT A BOMB!

Finally tried out their new location after being a customer in Lexington for many years. They make their bagels in house which you can actually see being done through the glass window...pretty cool! My go to is usually a sesame bagel extra toasted with plain cream cheese. Today my bagel was perfect, not burnt, but warm and crispy! I also grab a hazelnut iced coffee which is good--not overly sweet but hits the spot. I was impressed by their outdoor patio and was sad more people weren't using it, I'm sure it'll get packed come summer. It was a nice quiet space tucked away from the city where I could actually hear birds singing and could feel a cool breeze which eating my warm bagel. This one seems to offer more pastries and they also have a full meat counter serving Boars Head meat which is a cool addition. Plus…pizza bagels!! Whether you're in a hurry and use their pickup window or want to relax and enjoy your food, this place is for you.

Heard there was a new bagel place saw the pictures and reviews. Ordered online just in case it was bust, entered and it was empty. Ask for my food and walked away to try my bagels... Got the Eggceptional (lol) Asked for it to be toasted, sadly wasn't. Said the egg was fried, was scrambled, over hard. Don't worry I got another sandwich "French Toast Supreme" Bacon, cream cheese, toasted with peanut butter... Again, not toasted and without peanut butter (paid extra) If you're looking for a quiet place to do work, i can see it. However the food/comprehension needs some work, I'd just buy a bagel and make it at home for a better experience...

Okay when this place was opening me and my roommates were thrilled as we live right down the street! The first time we tried it was pretty good and we were all happy to have a quick and solid breakfast spot nearby for mornings after getting drunk on the weekend. This has very much changed. The last 4 times we have been to Wicked Bagel there’s something wrong with our order, a bagel is missing, something that’s supposed to be on the bagel is missing, or the bagel that is supposed to toasted looks like it was tossed in a microwave for 10 seconds versus actually being toasted. I am seriously not one to typically complain but after today’s experience I am not coming back until the owners fix the issues with this location. We went in and ordered two bagel sandwich’s, the young guy got everything right noted for the order and then we got our order about 10 minutes later and drove home. Upon arriving at home both of our sandwich’s including 1 that is a basic menu item were missing the cream cheese we asked for. We hopped back in the car went back to the place and told the kid who took our order and he obviously didn’t care because he said he would just put some on it then for us. We got back to our place again after getting them fixed and I wasn’t going to make a big deal because whatever I just wanted my bagel made properly like I asked! We get home and literally only one of the bagels had the cream cheese. I was absolutely livid, like it’s one thing to make a mistake but when a customer comes back and tells you what was wrong and you obviously don’t listen or care enough to make it right and then another mistake? I brought it back in and just asked for a side of the cream cheese I wanted because at this point I didn’t trust that they could do it right. There were no apologies the girl looked like she tried to act as she felt bad but no one actually owned up and said sorry. The owners need to get their act together, yes it maybe the staff but it’s the owners jobs to make sure their staff is meeting standards and quality, the bagels themselves are delicious and the place is cute but nothing is more frustrating than getting home and seeing your order was messed up. And again if this happened once I wouldn’t make a big deal but this is everytime we go there and twice in one day? I had to literally drive there three seperate times I am just so over it. You’re better off going to bruggers bagels they taste just as good and I know I can order it off of uber eats and still get exactly what I ordered. Owners I hope you’re reading this because your location needs some serious work and if you’re not willing to take feedback from the reviews you’re not going to continue to...

I was honestly excited to see my favorite bagel shop open up in my hometown. I’ve frequented the Lexington and Woburn locations for the past few years now since I’ve moved. The staff at the Woburn location is incredible, I’ve never had any issues. Watertown on the other hand — not so much. Now I’m not one to make reviews like this — I know what working in the foodservice industry is like, but man, if your staff is this bad, you have some re-evaluating to do. I hope this reaches a manager and they start to train their staff better because they truly need it. This was now the second time we’ve gone to this location. The first time, I ordered over the phone because their mobile ordering system was down, had them repeat my order to me, only for them to mess it up when I went to pickup. When I went to confirm if my order was correct (asked for a specific type of cheese on each one), the kid at the counter was clueless, asked about 3 other staff members who also seemed clueless. They remade my sandwiches and now forgot the mayo I asked them for. I let it go. Second time we go in, bought 2 sandwiches, made it to my car only to realize they forgot the second sandwich….went back in, now they forgot my cream cheese. Made it home, only to realize they didn’t add the 2nd egg I PAID FOR in one of the sandwiches. Overall, this place is a disgrace. The bagels are delicious, but lord help the staff they’ve hired. Not to mention, we got to the counter, the two girls at the register looked at us, looked back at each other and continued talking. Like hi I’m here for my order… what in the world is going on?! I don’t know who’s training them / if they’re being trained at all, but these kids need help. I wish I could give this...
