This cafe has a very pleasant atmosphere with friendly, uplifting staff. The coffee and specialty choices are on par with the franchise cafés. However, I believe that the brew and the specialty flavors are better and have a unique taste. I typically regularly get the amaretto or Irish cream flavoring. I have found that the mocha I get on occasion has a more pleasant flavor than those offered by Panera, SB, or DD. They have a regular crowd and customer base whom I've found pleasurable to interact with when stopping in, though I am not a daily regular. Quite a bohemian, eclectic place, in Wauconda, Illinois. Staff are friendly & up. Wanted a spot to have a mini business meeting, do recommend this spot. Ordered a Savory Scone, never had one like this, split it & shared. They offer many, when I say many, I'm not kidding regarding Coffee. Just had a traditional Small Black Joe. Will try the flavored ones another time. Was satisfying. Looking forward to returning soon!...

Cute little coffee shop! Only complaint I have is if you’re trying to have a meeting here, find some place else because the back room gets VERY loud and you’ll be yelling at each other to speak to whoever you’re there with.
