Service is everything! Becky is one of a kind. From the moment we arrived, Becky provided impeccable service...service that many might say is long gone. Like a true professional, she acknowledged that the bar would be getting busier soon but that we could count on her to meet our needs as the only (jerk) patrons on the patio. No matter the increase in business, Becky never neglected us, despite having to trek upstairs and outside, taking her away from the full bar. Becky made recommendations, truthfully told which items she had yet to sample, and made sure that our experience matched that of the regulars, even though there was nothing in it for her, as we were brand new to the spot. The food was simple and delightful, and both the food and beverage menu were priced well. Have I mentioned Becky? We will absolutely return, and it's all because of Becky. Give that woman a raise! I absolutely LOVE Strawberry Moon and make it a point to come on every time I'm in the area. The staff is so welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable. They can make you just about any drink you want- on or off the menu! I asked Amy for something fruity and tart. She did not disappoint with the Pomadrop. It's a combination fo two of their martinis- Pomagranate and Lemon Drop. SO GOOD! On Tuesdays they have martini flights for $9.50 and it comes with a small appetizer. The flight has three martinis of the week and change frequently. Recently they began offering flights of various spirits as well. You get three 1oz samples of your liquor of choice for under $10 in most cases. Would highly recommend this place! It's the only thing that makes me sad about moving away...

I give Strawberry Moon in Wauconda Illinois five stars! We really enjoyed the singing of John Ludy. He is really talented, and sings plenty of songs for everyone to get out on the Strawberry Moon dance floor and cut a rug. For this particular trip we just ordered drinks, but on other occasions we have had their excellent appetizers, including Joe's Crab dip, as well as their cheese and wine fondue.
