M-N-M's Coffeehouse in Waunakee, Wisconsin, is my go-to spot for a comforting and delightful coffee experience that's so good, it's practically a local landmark. As a regular patron, I can't get enough of their hot latte with sugar-free amaretto flavor, which never fails to put a smile on my face and a caffeinated pep in my step.
This locally-owned coffee and café offers a warm and welcoming environment that perfectly caters to a variety of occasions, whether it's a business coffee chat, a catch-up with an old friend, or a family outing that doesn't end in children crying.
The quality of their coffee is outstanding, as they proudly brew and sell Colectivo coffee, a favorite among discerning coffee enthusiasts (my parents). Alongside their delicious beverages, M-N-M's Coffeehouse offers a selection of quick and enjoyable food options that perfectly complement their coffee offerings. From scrumptious pastries that'll make you say, "Donut mind if I do," to satisfying sandwiches that are no laughing matter, there's something for everyone to savor.
One of the standout features of M-N-M's Coffeehouse is the variety of seating arrangements available, which cater to the needs of every guest, from the introverted bookworm to the extroverted social butterfly. From cozy nooks for intimate conversations to spacious tables for larger gatherings (retired folks), this charming café provides the perfect setting for any occasion.

Food was good. Not anything out of the ordinary, but in my opinion a tad over priced. I paid around a $13 total, could've made equally as good of food at home.
But the food is the only reason I gave M-N-M's Coffeehouse even two stars.
I've wanted to try this place for awhile now, its a rock throws away from my apartment. The first time my fiancee and I went in we weren't greeted or even really acknowledged. Even through there was 2-3 people tasking, he was in a grumpy mood and wanted to leave.
I decided this morning i'd give it a try myself, it's really convienent that it's open so early (6:00 am) but it does close rather early (4:00 i think) which is why we probably didn't have a warm greeting the first time.
But the cashier rushed me, didn't ask if i wanted anything else after i gave my sandwich order, AGAIN, didn't ask if i wanted anything else with my order.. had to awkwardly ask twice. Lastly, I didn't get a please or thank you. Not even eye contact really.
The atmosphere was very nice and it felt like a cozy place. Had a group of 4 and a few people on laptops even. Also very clean. Maybe you have to be regular for hospitality.
Again, food was good but nothing I myself couldn't do. I would return to try some something on the lunch menu, it looked pretty interesting, but sadly I don't think I will due to my past experiences.
I love going to places that put a smile on my face. I know this place must be popular, it had many awards...
Read moreDon't let the strip mall exterior detract you. The inside is a cozy place with a little bit of modern country house vibe to it. I ordered a medium mocha, no whip and whole milk plus a sourdough breakfast sandwich with bacon and american cheese. I usually order a quad americano but will get a mocha if I am trying a new place since the sweetness can slightly redeem a poor bean, grind, machine or barista. After ordering and paying with Apple Pay I was happy to see they use Colectivo beans so I knew at least the bean would be good and fresh. The barista seemed very knowledgeable as she was helping out a newbie espresso drinker at the time I was ordering (she may have been one of the female owners actually). My food and drink was brought to me with a smiling face which is something that usually doesn't happen in the big Madison cafes. The drink was well made and the breakfast sandwich was surprisingly large. They hit all the bases on the sandwich as far as the eggs and bacon were cooked well and the cheese was melted all the way through. If I had to criticize them on one thing I would say the level of salt was on the high side. It might have been from the bacon though. BTW, there is wifi you just have to log in using security credentials found on the table tops (or ask). All in all, a good place and I...
