Hardee’s — Restaurant in Waupaca

I was so disappointed in their chicken sandwich...does not match their advertisement at all! I know, what place really does? But this was so gross it wasn't funny and made me want to puke. The chicken was like rubber, the breading burnt, oily and disgusting! The lettuce left a bad taste in my mouth even over the rest of the nastiness. The only thing good was the curly fries. The soda was ok as far as sodas go, but they really need to learn to wipe down the cups before serving them, especially at the drive thru, people are going to be driving, luckily my husband and I pulled over to eat before going on, because we had to clean it off ourselves, as they were all sticky and wet. The burger he had, he said it was fine, but looked flat, bun and all like someone sat on it. The person at the window, I don't blame him, but sadly wasn't in a good humor or very happy, not very pleasant for being around customer service type situations. My main complaint is to the company or whoever handles the chicken sandwiches, please, order better and find ones that actually are good. Please. Why are they so bad?! Like all fast food restaurant if you go through drive thru check your order before leaving. They fogot frys on both my combos. Called said would send me coupons right away. 3 weeks later had to call back. Sent me coupons for the 2 frys i was shorted only . Went to use them and they asked price of coupons IDK . And then said oh I'm giving you 2 free frys !!! NOOO you sent me coupons to replace frys i had already paid for 3 weeks ago. Acted as if they were doing me a favor.

The food is pretty typical Hardee's food. However, there is a ball pit for the kids to play in. My kids always want to go back here because they had a blast the first time we visited. I will tell you that the playroom is a bit smelly, kind of like dirty socks. If you aren't afraid of ball pits for your kids, they will have fun here as these are getting harder and harder to come by. As the parent, I am comfortable letting the kids play in the playroom and I sit outside of it and watch.
