I have specific dietary requirements. When I purchase something from any place that sells food, be it a grocery store, gas station, fancy restaurant or fast food, I make a point of knowing what is in the food I'm buying. I went in with a simple food order. All I wanted was 2 egg biscuits with cheese (part of the all day breakfast menu) and a shake. After I ordered and paid, the manager on duty was informed that they didn't have the eggs cooked. She said get them going (or something, nothing rude but just make the food) she let me know it was probably going to be about 4 extra minutes for my food. No big deal. Then the guy in the back pulls the eggs and tells her there was only one biscuit made. That I would have to wait 15 minutes if I wanted two biscuits. She offered me the option, if I chose, to either wait for the biscuits to be done or to substitute a English muffin or McGriddle. I cannot eat English muffins, so I chose the McGriddle. I would be getting one biscuit and one McGriddle then. A few minutes later I witnessed the guy in back place sausage egg and cheese on the 2 sandwiches. I cannot eat sausage. I will literally be physically ill and I mention something to the woman in drive through so they were aware and didn't bag them up for me. When the manager came back up front and found out what had occurred, she was not happy. She told the staff in back to start over and immediately went back to the office. She came back up front very upset she was hoping to get me some free meal vouchers but was unable to find any. But she gave me a couple free small McAfee coupons and one for fries. I was very impressed and how she handled the situation because I didn't even have to complain, but as she became aware of what was going on took it upon herself to fix things! More often than not if you're upset at a restaurant or anywhere, and you want any kind of compensation you practically beg for it. She super impressed me!
FYI I edited my rating because the manager went above and beyond. I may not always be happy with how things turn out but when someone makes such an effort to make the situation right it deserves to be reflected...
Read moreThe service was very unprofessional. First of all I ordered shakes and the girl who was putting the whip cream in the shakes was not wearing any gloves she licked her finger afterwards and wiped her finger off on her pants that clearly had pet hair on them. She also scratched her head with the same finger! I've worked in the food industry before and it is always required to wear gloves when handling food !! My family of 6 ordered I made the order as clear as possible INSIDE McDonald's, the girl who took our order repeated the order to us at the end and I corrected her and I thought she fixed the order after waiting for our food we were missing a couple things, I went back to the front to kindly tell the young girl she forgot a few things she acted very confused and impolite instead of quickly problem solving something that was very simple. I made sure I was kind about it because I have worked in customer service my whole working career and I understand mistakes happen. She said shaking her head ignorantly "well you didn't pay for it, it's not on the receipt....soooo do you want it? Your going to have to pay for it" ......of course I wanted it that is why I went back up there especially because it was a burger it wasn't just any side item, and I feel that because she made a mistake it should have been complimentary due to the inconvenience, i had no trouble paying for it i never mentioned wanting anything for free for her to treat me like I was being rude and demanding. I was traveling. I came from 2 hours away I was hungry. The kids playground area garbage was overflowing the restroom diaper changing place didn't have any paper covers to place on the changing table overall bad experience I do not recommend this place it looks and is filthy. They definitely need to be more on top of things there. It makes me appreciate my local McDonalds here in the city I live in. We have many locations near me that have wonderful customer service and cleanliness. Also I'm not sure how they care for their food (proper storage/cooking) but I'm positive their food gave me a horrible stomach ache and trips to the bathroom. I couldn't...
Read moreWe asked for fresh fries made to order and mentioned we did not mind the wait. The manager took over the mic and stated that all fries were fresh right now as they were busy(with an attitude). We also ordered our double cheeseburgers plain, with extra burger salt only. When the kid didn’t understand how to ring it in he asked if we would be okay to not have them made that way? We said no as we like them this way and that’s why we came here. We got to the window and they gave us our drinks and food and we pulled ahead. I hungrily ate a fry right away in which I could immediately tell they were not standard fresh. When they are fresh they are HOT. These fries were lukewarm. I took a drink of what was supposed to be Dr Pepper and was not. My man then went inside and waited for the cashier to finish her order and as she did she told everyone to voice our opinions online because the management never listens to workers just customers. As she stated that my man told her well these fries aren’t fresh then she turned around and said that, “all fries are fresh right now” to which he told her to try one and that he has managed a McDonald’s for 3 years before and knows what fresh fries taste like. Well they ended up just handing him another OPENED bag of “fresh fries” that have just been sitting in the bin and then walked away from him. He then thanked her and she said nothing. He got me the right soda from the fountain and we left. It was overall over 45 minutes of stupidity...
