Bob & Randy's Bar — Restaurant in Wausau

I have liked going here until a certain bartender was not customer friendly. I enjoy all the bartenders but 1 who the first time didn't acknowledge us and took another order before us upon not refilling our beverages. We stopped going there until recently. No bad experiences until tonight with the same bartender, not get polite upon greeting, slow to take our order and left beverages empty for 15 min or more while on his phone and doing other things except acknowledging us. My husband said something finally and he said, "You know you catch more bees with honey than vinegar". Really? My husband being the better person, apologized. Since when does a customer apologize to someone who is not doing their job and being rude? No reason for this. I left a note and if I locate the owner, I will call him to let him know what is going on. I will NEVER have him wait on us again. We are owed the apology, not the rude, neglectful bartender. All is not negative, the food is amazing and most of the service...

Did not honor advertised price on wings. Not only that, but then argued with me that the menu did not say 0.60 each for wings to go on Mondays. Take a look. Menu also says 0.50 per item to go charge. Charged me 2.00. Just ordered 1 order of wings. Be prepared also that they ONLY ACCEPT CASH! What business these days only accepts cash? Wings are nothing special, and ONLY 3 sauces for 30 wings. After pondering the situation the bar tender did apologize to me so plus for that. I will not be going back. 32.00 for 30 average-sized wings at best with ave amount sauce. It does not seem to be allowing me to add a photo of the online menu prices. I will do so as soon as I can. Had the mushroom and swiss burger, every time this🍔burger never disappoints & should be world renowned!Dare i say even slightly better than Har**es awesomeness,with more mushrooms/mushroom gravy,thick swiss cheese on B & R's ®️👌🏻😎👍🏻.Need a spoon afterwards with all the yummy fixins left after eating the sandwich.👏🏻 100/10 ⭐ Edit from 8/29/25 burger: Bob would be turning over in his grave right now if he found out what a pathetic burger was served to me on this day: Woman bartender served skimpy on mushrooms and with no longer any mushroom gravy, now one slice instead of two slices of Swiss cheese, and no pickles served with it. This is how the best burgers of all time, and one of best bars, lose their greatness status.... either incompetence or...
