If I could give zero stars, I would. We hired Cake’d It LLC to create a wedding cake for what was supposed to be one of the most important days of our lives. What we received was not only a complete failure in execution but also a masterclass in unprofessionalism and lack of integrity.
The cake was assembled at the venue and visibly leaning, resembling the Leaning Tower of Pisa – and not in a charming or intentional way. Multiple other vendors at the event expressed serious concerns that the cake was structurally unsound and likely to fall. Even the owner of Cake’d It LLC, Brittany, acknowledged the lean herself. Her solution? She inserted a single plastic dowel visibly sticking out of the cake, as if that would somehow fix the issue. She left the venue knowing it was unstable, took the check, and walked away without a care.
Unsurprisingly, shortly after her departure, the cake collapsed. It had to be caught on sheet pans to prevent a complete disaster. What makes this experience even worse is that when we tried to contact her afterward, she showed zero accountability, offered no apology, no refund, and was completely heartless during every conversation. When we attempted to engage publicly, she turned off commenting on a Facebook post about assembling our cake, effectively silencing us and dodging any public responsibility.
Her attitude and actions speak volumes—not just about her lack of professionalism, but about the type of business she’s running. A wedding vendor should be someone you can trust. Brittany proved to be the exact opposite. Her character is the worst kind of disappointment, and I would never recommend Cake’d It LLC to anyone for any event, let alone a wedding.
Avoid at all costs.

Read moreThese guys went above and beyond! My husband and I ordered our wedding cake and custom cookies from here this last week. They made custom nature themed cookies unique and personalized with our names and all! The cake they made was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and just what I wanted, and they even made a custom topper just because- how sweet! Upon picking up my order before the wedding, I popped everything in a cooler and proceeded to run last minute errands before the weekend. Being that my cooler was a bit smaller than the height of the cake, I had to keep it cracked a little bit…. Unfortunately, in the heat of car while I was meandering around, our beautiful wedding cake had started melting some. Needless to say- I was a wreck. I was trying to figure out how I could possibly fix it myself. I decided to first call the shop and see if there was any recommendations they had- as maybe they’ve had similar experiences before and could help. They told me to bring it in- and no questions asked, they redid my WHOLE WEDDING CAKE! Absolutely wild! Never expected such kindness. If that wasn’t enough- it was absolutely INCREDIBLE! We received so many compliments on the cookies, and the cake was delicious! I could not be more grateful for choosing these guys and more importantly for their hard work and kindness! They’ve got my business for life! Just learn from me and do better than I did and get a...
Read moreMy husband ordered a birthday cake for me from Caked It and it is a great disappointment. The cake did not have a birthday message on it for me even though the invoice clearly says "Happy birthday, Delores" on it. Instead it has a cheap looking plastic topper stuck on top of it that says a generic "happy birthday". The "decorations" on it are cloth flowers, not frosting flowers. The frosting is very thin. He asked for an almond flavored cake with poppy seeds. There are poppy seeds in the cake. If there is any almond flavoring in it, it is undetectable, not the robust almond flavor that we are used to. There is some confusion on the invoice. In one place it says "almond poppy seed cake" and in another place it says "white cake". He asked for lemon filling between the layers. There is some lemon filling but it, also, is very thin; it is so thin in some places it is impossible to taste any lemon at all. The cake is quite dry.
My husband called in the order just before the weekend and had a conversation on the phone with who he believes is the daughter of the owner. She indicated some family obligations were going to occur early this week (the week of 7/17/23) but she accepted the order and problem-solved out-loud how she would be able to fill it. She had the cake ready on time. She charged $95 + tax for an 8 inch cake with all the problems I have...
