BB's on North — Restaurant in Wauwatosa

Did pick up, and pizza was great, and ready at the time we asked for it to be ready. Website was slightly confusing, as it indicated they had delivery, but when I called to see if we were in the delivery zone, they said they didn't do delivery. I also ordered early, with a scheduled pick up time for severalhours later. It was a large order, and I wanted to make sure I could pick it up at a certain time. The website gave the option to either do asap or schedule a later pick up time. Right after i ordered, i got an email saying they were starting to prep my order. I had to call to make sure they knew I didn't want the pizzas immediately, but wanted them for later. Maybe the email was just autogenerated, but it was a little confusing

But very good pizza, great crust (we got thin crust), high quality ingredients. Pizza was hot, crust crispy. I imagine parking could be a bit challenging on weekends, but was fine on a Thursday. Pizza was great—bbq chicken, chicken pesto and margarita. Curbside pickup less than stellar. Pulled into first parking space in front of building on Lefeber Av facing south. No signage visible with phone number or instructions. Looked up phone number, called, put on hold, then a guy showed up at car window, no face mask or identifying work clothes—took my name then brought me the pizzas. So...not horrible but not very organized. UPDATE ONE MONTH LATER (early August): another takeout order, same good pizza but not a good bet if you're looking to minimize your exposure. They're not doing curbside anymore, they were understaffed so pickup time was slow, and indoor waiting area was not socially distanced, with in-and-out customers for indoor dining mixed in, some masked and some not. Plus website didn't work for online ordering and phone-in order involved ten minutes on hold. Will try someplace...

Unfortunately this is a downgrade from 4 stars of five months ago. Ordered to go, waited appropriate time and then went to pick up order. After waiting there ignored for several minutes, was told that they were out of gluten free crusts, and therefore didn’t cook our other pizza either! Said he tried to call, but there was no record of call. He lied. We ordered online, and they could’ve emailed or texted. Not one apology for leaving us with an hour of waiting, and then a drive there, to be met with nothing. No offer or discount on future orders. When husband asked for refund, was told he’d be refunded during business hours. Over $50. So very disappointing, because we live in the neighborhood, and were regular customers.
