-UNACCEPTABLE service from Shar’na.
We came in bright and early shortly after opening this Thursday. It was a group of 4 of us, we are all teenagers, around 16. Are waitress was Shar’na. We all work in the service industry, and have been in the same service industries for years, so we understand that mornings might not be delightful. But, our waitress Shar’na was very short with us, but we just brushed it off. We noticed that other people (who were older) were getting sat in her section as well, but the service was completely different from ours. It almost seemed intentional, and very disrespectful. As we work in the service industry as well, we know to treat all customers with kindness regardless of the customers service. But, we were very kind and thankful, and our waitress Shar’na treated us differently from other customers. 🤨
One of the girls joining us, is allergic to cilantro. She had forgotten that the tacos have cilantro on it but ordered 3 tacos with small adjustments to the toppings- but had forgotten to remove cilantro. When her order came, she noticed her tacos had cilantro on it, so we waived over our waitress Shar’na. My friend was very apologetic because it was her mistake for forgetting to remove cilantro, and she was asking what her options were. Our waitress, who did not look at all pleased, stood there silently and told my friend “well, if I were to fix your order, I’d have to rewrite the toppings and make the chefs remake it. Can u like not eat it?” And I followed with “oh, she’s allergic to cilantro, but she ordered it on accident. Could she get it removed or replaced?.” The waitress Shar’na then said “okay. I’ll see what the kitchen can do.” We were very thankful that she had at least tried.
Our waitress Shar’na then came back and just threw the plate of only 2 tacos onto our table without making any eye contact or saying anything. And my friend originally ordered 3 tacos, but Shar’na are waitress just gave her 2. Reluctantly, our waitress took it off our check. But, this wasn’t the last time Shar’na was going to give us the silent treatment.
She’d ask all of her other tables how they were doing and checked up on them many times, but checked up on us once and made it a one word sentence. At this point, we realize that she was being extremely disrespectful towards us SPECIFICALLY and decided to take it upon herself to give us the worst service we’ve ever received.
My other friend had just ordered water as well and finished it in the first 20 minutes we were there and was never offered or acknowledged a refill since Shar’na our waitress was so short with us and never offered us anything like you’d usually get in normal service.
Our waitress Shar’na then just did the same thing and threw the check on our table, made no eye contact, and walked away. That was our last interaction with her.
Fortunately , this has been the absolute worst service we have ever experienced and will never come back to that restaurant since the disrespect just set a horrible experience for us all.
As for Shar’na, the waitress, I hope that she does not pay all of her customers that type of service and step back from being disrespectful towards customers; who, are minors. If you’re unwilling to give good service and respect towards your customers ESPECIALLY when we were very verbal with being thankful and were very polite, I recommend not being in the service industry, because I unfortunately have to write a bad review towards this business even though it was just our rude waitress.
Food was amazing; but we were skeptic that things that aren’t supposed to be in our food could be in our food because of the very noticeable hate that waitress gave...

Having been served by Tiffany before, we knew we were in capable hands. Her introduction of Krisalyn allowed us to engage with both, and by the end of our meal, Krisalyn was conversing with us. It’s clear Tiffany’s mentorship is guiding Krisalyn toward becoming an excellent server.
A Taco Tragedy: The Case of the Missing Fried Zucchini and Beet Taco
Now, onto a matter of grave importance. As a devoted vegetarian, I was heartbroken to discover some time ago that my beloved fried zucchini and beet taco vanished from the menu. This wasn’t just any taco; it was the taco—the one that made me, a lifelong beet skeptic, fall head over heels for those earthy little devils. Its absence leaves a void in my heart (and stomach) that no amount of chips and guac can fill.
I understand that menus evolve, but this taco was a culinary unicorn—a rare gem that brought joy to vegetarians and beet-haters alike. I humbly request its triumphant return, perhaps as a special or seasonal item. Think of it as a taco comeback tour; I’d be first in line for tickets.
In the meantime, I’ve embarked on a quest to find a new veggie favorite. The Black Bean & Corn Taco has been a worthy contender, offering a flavorful and satisfying experience. However, the memory of my dear zucchini and beet taco lingers like a catchy tune I can’t get out of my head.
Thank you for considering my heartfelt plea and for continuing to provide exceptional dining experiences. I remain hopeful for the return of my cherished taco and look forward to many more meals at...
Read moreSpacious and welcoming for families. Myself and one other visited on an early Fri evening and it wasn't terribly busy. I am currently with an orthopedic boot and made a special request of the young hostess for a spacious booth for purposes of ease in/out and shifting around to accommodate the dang foot. She lead me by zipping ahead to a snug two seat booth... Totally unable to grasp the situation. When my dining partner arrived and requested of the same hostess a move to a more roomy booth she was rebuked by said young hostess. Please note there were several vacant large booths and a variety of tables as the restaurant was only at about 1/3 capacity. Chalking this up to inexperience in the service arena and immaturity to recognize/empathize outside a personal bubble. In the meantime the server for the area did graciously, without qualms, reseat us in a large booth and provided a really nice, friendly experience. (She gets 5 stars)
We each tried the cucumber coolers... Highly recommend. We shared an order of chips and an order of plantains... Totally yummy. For our dinners we each had bowls: carne asada and a shrimp bowl. The portions were reasonable and everything was pretty tasty as well. Prices are family friendly... There were several young families enjoying meals.
The restaurant is roomy with various seating options both inside and outdoors. And there are handrails at every set of steps throughout. All reasons we chose the location for my first go with foot in a walking boot. Hoping the host staff will be better prepared for other patrons requesting...
