Colonel Hart's — Restaurant in Wauwatosa

Normally I we enjoy my experience visiting. Unfortunately this was not one of my best time spent. Having been a bartender before I might see things differently. I was telling a friend about the pizza deal which made us choice to go. Walking in was a light crowd, waited bout 5 mins before the bartender decided to come my way, which of course is not a huge deal, the deal I have is after order just a Coke, and my buddy ordered a half pitcher, the bartender walks off. Doesn't ask if it's anything else needed, if we were aware of any menu items, nothing, just here a coke, here's a beer, drink it. So after another 30 mins of a full glass of coke I decided that I might be better served at a place that cares that I choose to come inside, bartender had time enough to chill back, hold, 4 separate conversations, all without every looking back towards our table to check on a customer, which is that bartender part, guess the fact me and my buddy were the only two black faces may or may not have a...

Went on Tosa Fest night (Saturday). Brewer game - busy, but manageable. No service -13 minutes my friends and I sat at a table closest to the door. Anna proceeds to our table - 15 minutes later (and we graciously cleared our own table.) Anna: "Oh hi no one has come by your table?" Us: "no" Anna: "I'm sorry I was back there making pizzas"

Not her fault they were short staffed, BUT the entire night if felt like we were a complete inconvenience. (Wait you're taking my money?). I'd rather spend my money at Buffalo Wild Wings than this small 1 stall women's bathroom - which BTW is not handicap accessible, and may get you a dart in the eye since its in front of the Dart wall. If I was not in a group I would have walked out on this tab (she never took a card until much later). I have worked On Premise for 8 years, and this bar is a disgrace to the food and beverage industry. Spend your money elsewhere, and wait for this place...

Been here a lot. Normally not that bad. Not even that busy one particular bartender only half listened to my drink order and walked away in the middle of me ordering. Then poured it in a way I didn't want. I like liquor with some seltzer in it, not seltzer with liquor in it, and was willing to pay appropriately but she wouldn't listen. I was going to let it go but she noticed I was irritated then messed it up even more and got an attitude with me and slammed my drink down. The other bartender was great. I had no problems quickly explaining what I wanted to him and got exactly what I ordered.
