Gave this place 4 separate chances and everytime there was something that was wrong. Very rude service. First time my husband and I went we sat down at a table outside and had numerous wait staff walk past us numerous times and ignore us while helping other customers right by us. Finally after 30min my husband had to track a waitress down to help us. That's when we were told the table and section we were in outside was closing down and we needed to find somewhere else to sit, which there were no other spots to sit outside and after being ignored for as long as we were and then to have such rude service when we finally got service we decided to leave and go to MOD pizza a block away where we were able to actually eat outside. An hour later when we were done eating and left we had to walk past leffs to get to our car and there we see a man and woman in the exact table we were sitting at that we had to move from because that section was closing and there were other people in the other tables in the section that was supposedly closing as well. When I seen that I was really taken back and apauled at how rude that waitress was and the situation we had just gone through an hour prior. Then another time we decided to get carry out after having numerous bad experiences trying to eat there so that we could finally try there food. We ordered 2 wraps a side of fries with one and a side of haystack onion rings for the other. When my husband placed the order over the phone he called the haystack onions "haystack onion strings or rings" I can't remember exactly and the server rudely corrected him when he clearly new exactly what we were trying to order. It was completely unnecessary, uncalled for and rude. So then after the gentlemen even corrects my husband about the haystack onions we get home and have the potato chips instead of the haystack onions. The food was not very thrilling either the wraps were pretty dry and the potato chips were overly saturated in grease. And I belive we even paid an upcharge for the haystack onions that we didn't even receive. Overall we tried to give this place numerous chances and it just kept being one bad experience...
Read moreThis was not a great experience. My significant other and I were in town for a sporting event and we decided it would be nice to eat at this place. Never did it say anywhere that this was a 21 only area. I my self am 21 and my significant other is 20. We walked in and no where did it say to seat ourselves. We looked lost and no staff came up and talked. I finally asked someone and they said to seat yourself. We found a spot in the patio and wait to be seen. A heavier set guy with blonde hair came up and asked to see our IDs. We found this quite weird since as when we were walking up we saw tons of family’s eating. I went to grab my ID and my significant other said “oh im 20” without skipping a beat the waiter said “sorry this is 21 and over you can’t stay.” I responded with “even the patio?” because there were younger people sitting out. He said yes and walked away. In my mind immediately i know that my boyfriend was being racially profiled for being African American. As we were leaving we stopped a local and asked about a good place to eat and he recommends hectors. This was sooooo good! After we ate we headed back to our car. We walked past Leffs and yet again I saw younger people at the place around 9:30. I was pretty frustrated and wanted to talk to the manager. I walked in and asked to talk to the manager and it so happened to be the guy that refused our service. I asked him why we were turned away and he said it’s 21 unless you are with someone of age or your parents. I came back with well that was my case and you turned us away and told us to leave because my boyfriend of color was with me. This place is racist and it quite literally full of nasty employees. don’t eat here because they don’t care about the customers unless they are forking over the overpriced money they charge for this food. I would give this place 0...
Read moreWent with a group of 3 looking for some late night food after a long day of funeral planning. We called Leff's asking if the kitchen was open. They said it was open until 11 and hung up abruptly. Strange I thought however, its late and I didnt think too much of it. We look at the menu online and head over. We come in find ourselves a seat. Thinking to ourselves upon sitting for 5 or so minutes without introduction, maybe you must order at the bar and so I head to the bar and ask "excuse me could I order some food and get some waters please?" He said, "sure how many" and grabbed the waters. As he passed them to me he asked for which food and I requested the Citrus Salmon which is on the menu. As I ask, the barkeep scoffs at me, turns around and tosses a tiny hand-sized menu at me as he walks away. I look down at the menu and put it together that the food items are limited at this hour. Now you might think this one to be on me, after all most bars change their food options at near midnight hours. However that's where you would be wrong as I expected this and called ahead, asking if the kitchen was still open. We excitedly latched onto the idea of a bar with a late open dinner and it was a fair expectation. They could have let us know that the kitchen options were limited this late and then nobody's time would have been wasted. But they decided they'd rather add on to an already troubling night and make sure what meager pleasure we tried to get out of this roughest day in years...
