Now I need to preface this first, 3 stars for service isn't bad that is average in my book. It took a normal amount of time for me to get food and be seen especially given there was only one person waiting on everyone.
Now for the atmosphere it was nice and felt cozy. Wasn't super bright and all the colors were warm and inviting it felt like a place I could sit down and chill in for a while compared to the typical whites and bright colors of other "faster" restaurants.
Food was good, this place is definitely a hot hole in the wall kinda establishment but I like that all the food tasted and looked wonderful. Everything was mostly fresh and I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken pho I had. On top of it all being a reasonable price especially given the portion sizes. My pho was a small and it was still massive so take that into account when ordering you get a lot of food for at most $17 and that is the very high end prices average around the $10 mark for their "small" portions.
All in all would recommend and I will be back to try out the bento and yakisoba at some point.
(Side note they also have boba and it is great the large is literally in a soup container you...
Read moreMichael makes THE BEST sushi on the coast! Pam is a phenomenal waitress! She never writes down an order and she never gets one wrong either. The atmosphere is mellow and laid back, comfortable and very relaxing. Food is served fast and to specs! The hurricane roll and a small tum yum soup is about $20 for both and you are full until the next meal time. I recommend spicy tum yum, it’s got heat, it’ll make you sweat, but you’re not downing sweet tea after sweet tea to cool it down. It’s literally JUST RIGHT if you like spicy food. They also have regular but I’ve always got it spicy! Great people, make you feel like family! Would recommend anyone and everyone to Sushilicious! I’ve been coming here for 3+ years and have NEVER had a bad experience or food I did not absolutely love! Family owned and run restaurant, you cannot beat that...
Read moreThe egg rolls are way to large, fat and loosely rolled to be considered Thai. I guess I'm spoiled by our local vietnamese fare. The filling taste is ok, nothing over the top. No Thai sweet chili dipping sauce more like a sweet and sour which is ok. This pad thai is flavorless. No other vegetables in it but bean sprouts. The pork was hard as a rock like it was precooked and added in the stir fry instead of cooking with raw pork. No balance of flavors at all. Thai food must be a balance of salty, sour, spicy, sweet, and bitter. Being half Thai I'm a bit critical of my Pad Thai. Could not detect any tamarind. Non existent spice or even the presence of spring onions or shredded carrots. I should've wondered how authentic it would be when no one asked what spice level. Any Thai restaurant would ask that. Who is leaving these raving pad...
