I ordered a mix platter, no extras.
Chicken is very mid. Better off with just gyro here until they learn to season & cook the chicken better.
Platters are supposed to come with sauteed onions, according to their menu, but they're very bare on salad overall. No onions whatsoever. Barely any tomato or lettuce even? Looks like you have to ask for the rest here or pay extra? At $12 for a mixed platter, very unappetizing. Pita was just okay.
You'll get more at most places for under $10. I was going to order more but the taste (and appearance) of the chicken had me lose my appetite very fast.
Flies wandering through the building also land right in your food if the meat didn't turn you off enough. Best to get your plate to go if you're set on trying this place once, and avoid the flies. I won't be coming back.
Better off at Tandoori Gyro King off Union Blvd in Totowa. Much better prices, less cheap with the salad and far superior chicken. I hear in May we'll have another platter joint opening in Wayne. Hopefully it's not the...
Read moreI love their Chicken Pita wrap and wings. Make sure to ask for “double fried” which makes it extra crispy like the Korean Fried Chicken. My favorite sauce of choice always would be honey bbq. The Gyro platter is my second favorite but I will always go for the Chicken Pita wrap because the meat and sauce consistency is excellent.
They also have a banana pudding that you cannot forget to buy as a side. I normally hate chunky bananas in my banana pudding but theirs is absolutely my favorite. (No chunky banana’s)
The service is okay (that’s where I give it 4.5) there is one guy there that never smiles or laughs I’m not sure what his issue is but every time I went there in the lunch time he never seemed to be welcoming but I never let that affect me. I just come the hours he’s not there. But either way the other employees and owner are fantastic don’t let one mood ruin your whole day.
The food is great. Overall I would pick this place when I need my gyro fix in...
Read moreStaff was very friendly and you can tell they care a lot about their food. We wanted some food and stopped by this place because it was close by and I am not disappointed at all. Staff was very kind and we had a nice conversation while waiting for our food. They told us their passion for the food they make and that was made very clear through the quality and taste of their food. Very pleased with our food and it matched that of big chain platter places such as Halal Guys. Definitely up their with one of the best platters I’ve had and I’m glad it is close by to my home because it beats driving minimum 20 minutes to get a good platter. Overall would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a top tier...
