Due to a migraine, I ordered McDonalds to be delivered. It’s unfortunate this is the closest McDonalds to me. I literally live less than 5 minutes away. I know my order sat there for some time considering it took 45 minutes and it was cold. You can see from the picture I ordered a triple cheese burger but received a double.
This McDonalds consistently has quality issues regardless of it being in the drive-thru or delivery.
Working at McDonalds was my first job as a teenager. We had quality standards that we had to meet. Special grill order items were double-checked and we were held accountable.
Of course back then, we were actually trained and had to pass a performance test before we were allowed to operate a station. We watched training “how to” videos before we were worked on a new station.
I can only assume that training methodology no longer exists considering the poor quality this location continually provides.
It deeply saddens me that so many young people are not taught to take pride in what they do like do many of us were taught by our parents. We were taught that whatever you do … do your best because it is a reflection of your integrity and work ethic … it’s a reflection of YOU.
Instead of bringing down the quality of the McDonalds brand, employ some simple standard operating procedures … start by caring about the quality of the food that is served to customers.
I am proud that I learned about doing a good job, integrity, teamwork, ethics and many more qualities that have enabled me to be a valued asset to every company or client with which I have worked. It started at McDonalds at the age of of 15 and half.
Think about the quality of service you are providing to customers...
Read moreThis place has the rudest employees I've ever met. We went into the Play Place, I came to the counter to ask her if they had a PA system that we could hear back there when our number was called. She said, "I told you to listen for your number? Can you hear or just don't know how to listen?" I said, "Ma'am..." And she said, "Obviously I don't have time for you lil miss, back up and listen for your number or run along. We don't offer table service, look around, this is McDonald's." She walked away and told others not to even speak to me. The other people waiting for their food were shocked. Two HS-agee girls said, "OMG, that was rude." An early 30s male said, "Whoa, I'm sorry." I just shook my head and went back out to the play area and told my sister. When my number got called that man came and told me and I went to get our stuff. My nephew and granddaughter were playing. My sister went to see about getting her order, a Spicy Chicken and a McChicken, took 30 minutes. After they told both of us they don't bring stuff to tables, a young female employee came back to the PlayPlace to give someone else their order. We are in town once a week, this place now goes off...
Read moreAnother McDonald's drive thru mess! What began as a simple order request (Happy Meal Cheese Burger no onions) turned into a sloppy cheese burger with so much ketchup it turned the bun into a soggy mess and no pickles. I was asked to come inside to rectify the mix up and the manager opened the burger to confirm my complaint. Instead of giving me pickles at the window the manager insisted I come inside and correct the issue. After walking inside and waiting for service I would think costumer service skills would have kicked in but all she had to offer was a disgruntled conversation about a kids meal cheeseburger. This situation was completely avoidable but just giving us 2 damn pickles so we could be on our merry way. So while I'm at it... clean your kitchen floors and for goodness sake tend to your dining area and tables. The men's bathroom could also use a gallon of bleach and a fire hose. I will end this on a good note. The young man at the window was courteous and professional. He did try to get us the missing pickles but the manager refused. Good luck getting me to return to that business and if anyone asks I'll repeat my experience in...
