Taylor's Coffee & Creamery — Restaurant in Waynesville

I came across this coffee shop on TikTok, where it was advertised as having unique offerings like buckets of coffee, coffee flights, popsicles, and ice cream flights. Naturally, I was excited to try it out.

While I will say the coffee itself was good, the experience left a lot to be desired. None of the items that were featured in the TikTok were clearly listed on the menu, and when we asked the baristas about them, we were met with rudeness and very little willingness to help. It felt like we were bothering them just by asking.

It’s disappointing when a place builds buzz online but doesn’t follow through in-store—and worse when the staff treats customers like an inconvenience.

I hope this review helps the business realize how important customer service is—especially in the customer service industry. Good coffee can only go so far if the people serving it make the experience...

It’s very small but cute on the inside. No where to sit which isn’t a huge deal since there are shops nearby that you can walk around in, but if you are just wanting to go get coffee with a friend and sit and chat, not the best option. The service was great but the biggest issue was the coffee was not good at all unfortunately. I paid $7 for a coffee (which I wouldn’t mind if it was good), but it tasted like alcohol. I got a dark chocolate raspberry mocha with oat milk in one of their iconic coffee buckets. It was so delicious and so! Much! Coffee! Honestly, I couldn't drink it fast enough!

The location is perfect - you can get yourself a coffee and walk through all of the antique and specialty stores nearby while you sip your drink. The store itself is pretty tiny inside, so it was pretty cramped when we went, but that's alright because there's quite a bit of outdoor seating.

They have such a large variety of beverages, I feel almost obligated to go back and try more (which I am more than...
