Northside Remedy
Blake and I walk through the front patio into the door, immediately we were both slammed with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
The solid wood bar top is warm and welcoming, and the quiet bustle of a few seated parties is lingering throughout the room.
The second we step into the door we are greeted with smiles By Cameron and Collin. âBlake, Ray, How we doing todayâ Collin Asks? We both smile back, itâs a warm feeling to be greeted by name.
We approached the bar and it began to seem like both of us were unsure of what beverage we were craving most, one thing for sure we werenât craving coffee, until now!
After moments of pondering I proceeded to get the plutonium coconut porter. It super dark, but not near as mean as it looks. Cameron began filling my pint mug, as Blake decided she did in-fact want some coffee. âAn espresso, with a double shot of Rum Chata pleaseâ. We both look at each other with a shared interest, as I now contemplate my initial decision.
Before walking away with our beverages, we decided to try out a few of the Appetizers. A Caprese Skewer, and an order of Deviled eggs yum!!
The outdoor seating area has plenty of shade, as well as fans to keep air circulating, so we opted to sit outside and watch the traffic pass as we talked about our day and enjoyed our drinks.
A few Minutes later I spot Cameron out of the corner of my eye, headed over with appetizers. My initial reaction to the deviled eggs, âHow in the world did they get that much bacon on there!?â
The presentation of the Caprese was that of a 5 âď¸ restaurant, and yes Blake single handedly finished the entire thing. âThe Balsamic was perfectâ she said, âand the tomatoâs were soo sweet!â For me the deviled eggs were filling and reminded me of the holidays as a kid. My brother would eat the filling from grandmas deviled eggs and give me the egg whites, at the time I didnât realize how bad I was being cheated. đ
As we close our tab weâre both smiling, the stress of the day is gone, traffic has died down, and the daily rat race is ending.
We will certainly be back to visit again. Iâm extremely excited to spend some chilly winter afternoons on the patio with a giant Cappuccino or hot chocolate.
Huge shoutout to Cameron and Collin for the fantastic service, as Well as...

#1 the vibes are phenomenal! Itâs like if classy and rustic had a baby, whose main priority in life was to just chill and make great vibes! This is the perfect destination for a romantic date night, or even better, a group of friends!
#2 the pizza was probably one of my top bests EVER! I 100% wasnât expecting it to hit THAT hard! But it did and we might be addicted! I had the caprese pizza on regular crust, my husband had the chicken smoke on thin crust. We ending up sharing ours and itâs was perfection!
#3 Alfredo approved: 100% PET FRIENDLY! This isnât your typical âsure, dogs are tolerated on the patioâ nope! Our 100lb puppy was welcomed with a puppaccino in a fancy latte cup, AND the staff brought him a clean bowl of water! Also the staff kept making sure we werenât too cold on the patio, and said he was welcome inside, though we declined.
#4 last, but definitely not least, THE STAFF IS 10000% ON POINT!! everyone is soOo genuinely nice! We were the only ones on the patio, and we were checked on more frequently than weâre frankly used to! We didnât have to wait for anything. And honestly they were all in such amazing moods, it made the vibes here that much better!!!
So to sum it all up, this is absolutely on my list of must go hidden gems! We will...
Read moreIt's been a while since we've been here because last 2-3 times we've been service has tanked horrible. Everyone is nice but I checked in at the bar that we were here and it took 22 minutes to just be acknowledge and over 31 minutes to get 1 out of the 4 drinks we ordered. At 39 minutes we finally got the remaining drinks that were one beer and 2 sodas.
I've given this place chance after chance and the service takes SO PAINFULLY long is unbelievable.
The waitresses just walk by. Staff walks by. Servers walk by. Out table blank. No menus no waters no drinks nothing and not even acknowledged.
When finally acknowledged the waitress is very very nice. But I had to ask for menus.
I go inside to use the restroom and 4 employees are laughing and joking at the bar, haha ok.
I don't think I'll be back. How this place isn't packed with 900 5-star reviews is beyond me. This place is AWESOME.
One thing I wanna highlight off the bat is how delicious, how utterly delicious the food is. OMG I hope they never change. We ordered so many things off the menu. The service staff is just 5 star sweet and nice and so welcoming. We loved the live music and there decor is so cool!
Can't wait to make this a...
