Starbucks — Restaurant in Webster Groves

No complaints about baristas…friendly and quick. Here’s the problem…three times in the past month I have stopped in for a coffee drink. Each time I specify Decaf, as I don’t handle caffeine well anymore. And each time I’ve ended up with regular coffe. Unfortunately I don’t feel the caffeine effects until I’m almost done. The jitters set in and last for hours. The previous trip I called the manager and explained the mistake. I asked him to pass on to all staff to be less “automatic” with using regular…to HEAR a decaf request and fill it correctly.

So…just got a “decaf” coffee from them about 90 min ago and I am now jittery off the wall!

So two things - if you ask for decaf from a barista, it’s up to you/me to make sure they actually here and act on the decaf. Secondly, stop making regular coffee for people who asked for...

I’ve been coming here at least 2 or 3 times a week for the last three years. I’ve seen some baristas come and go but I always have the same friendly experience. They greet everyone when walking in and thank me when I leave. No, thank YOU! They make a great chai with oat milk (my go to), also a hot matcha latte is delish. Love this place and I always look forward to stopping by. I have also done homework here multiple times and the guests generally keeps to themselves which is perfect for me!

Also important to add, they forgot something in my drink once (only once in three years) and when I asked, they apologized and added it for me! I work in the service industry too, so I understand things can slip your mind. Very...

This location is definitely one of my favorite Starbucks store in the St.Louis area. Despite being a bustling place filled with business people working, university students studying, and everyone else trying to find a place to unwind and hang out, the Partners are always kind, energetic, and friendly. I always feel very welcome as soon as I walk in.
