Mexicali Cantina Grill — Restaurant in Webster

We went in planning to have dinner and a few margaritas afterward, but the tall woman working behind the bar made the experience terrible. We were there with our two-year-old, who was well-behaved — not crying, screaming, or causing any problems.

From the moment we walked in, before we even had a chance to open the menu, she was already asking for our order and rushing us. Then, while we were still eating and the table was full of untouched food she asked if we wanted boxes! — even though the food was barely touched and it had only been about eight minutes since it was served.

She never asked if we wanted another drink or dessert; it felt like she just wanted to get us out as quickly as possible. We usually order from this place through DoorDash, but after this experience, we won’t be going back for a while. What was supposed to be a casual family dinner turned into a really uncomfortable experience.

She certainly didn’t deserve a tip — we only left one out of courtesy, but her attitude and poor service didn’t deserve a cent. It's a shame how a person like this can totally...

Wait times range from on time to so late that you just cancel and leave.

Services is on the bad side, The waitresses themselves good, the front staff is weak. Kitchen staff is slow.

Like many restaurants in town they fail to maintain a basic standard of keep somebody in the front end 24/7.

Many times I walk in there to pick up an order and there's nobody working the front desk.

I look around it's not that busy there's not that many people the employees are all just huddled in the corner eating food talking not paying attention ECT.

I've stood there for almost 5 minutes without even being greeted in a non busy restaurant so my review is reflecting the continuous mediocre and below average service I have been receiving from the staff.

You guys are honestly pretty unimpressive in comparison to some of the other restaurants that are on top...

Mexicalli is a great option for a Mexican food restaurant. It has many varieties of food options and good drinks. the restaurant is very beautiful, super cozy, great to go with friends and family, the service is very good, the staff are very attentive, friendly and fast, the food is delicious and the drinks are amazing. I intend to drink the Marguerita, which is delicious. I always eat a different dish but my favorites are “Pescado” and “Dos Amigos”. there is parking in front of the restaurant, spaces for wheelchair users, wheelchair access to the restaurant and the bathrooms are super clean. I highly recommend 10/10. It is worth noting that it is a family environment where whenever I go I see several families with children and groups of friends.
