Okay this is the first time I can confidently say I had a mediocre/ bad experience. I was with my partner and my friend and we were waiting in line for a solid 15-20 minutes and when we finally arrived at the front, I was going to order dinner when the woman very rudely exclaimed: “this is ice cream only. Go over to next window” Frazzled and annoyed by her rude demeanour I was practically tripping over my partner. We went to the next window and ordered our food and at the end we asked: “can we order ice cream here still?” The cashier almost embarrassed and very shyly said: “you’ll have to wait in line.” Although I’ve been to Mac’s on the pier multiple times, I made an honest mistake of being in the line. It should definitely be labelled or something. The lobster roll felt very bare, it didn’t come with a side or anything. It was just the lobster roll for an exorbitant $40 and I think the lobster was slightly over cooked as parts were slightly chewy/ rubbery. It was mediocre at best but way...
Read moreWill never come back to the one on the Pier. Went from being my favorite tacos ever to completely inedible. I don't know why the shell was cold and hard like it was cooked way beforehand, but that made the taco completely inedible. I took two bites and then decided I should ask them to remake it since I've never encountered tortillas this awful at an establishment. One of the ladies calls me over and says "you ordered the tacos you brought back? One eaten." Like I was trying to get free food. It just took me two bites of a tiny taco to realize I shouldn't force myself to eat this since I paid $7.50 per taco. They did replace them both except these were exactly the same!!! I'm so disappointed. I ate the two tiny pieces of fish inside and threw out the rest. Mac's was my favorite place on the Cape and now I'm hesitant to ever go again. So...
Read moreThis was really not good; actually inedible, and I can usually make myself eat almost anything. Shame on me I guess for being vegetarian on the Cape, but still, if they're going to sell it, it should be edible. The corn tasted like cardboard, the coleslaw was super bland, and the tofu burrito was one of the worst things I've ever had. It had absolutely zero flavor; it tasted like nothing. Maybe their fish is great, but this def isn't it. I'll give them one star for trying, because I do appreciate the thought, and another star for the portabella sandwich, which wasn't great, but was edible. Then, to top it off, they made me wait an extra 20 minutes after it was ready because they thought it wasn't for some reason. It was pretty busy, and I'm sympathetic, but still, that's not...
