I love the food here but today I had horrible customer service from nadia the front counter lady. For one as soon as I walked in with my husband to make our To go plates she gave us attitude. As soon as we were checking out she was giving us attitude. She charged me $14 each plate. First she told us the to go plates are not the same price as the dinner plate (which is $9.95) which then I told her why? And then she switched her story to well we over filled our plate so that’s why she charged us l extra. Which we did not fill out plates at all. So I proceeded to ask her what is considered a overfilled plate because I don’t feel as if I over filled my plate. Our plates were properly closed and nothing was hanging out. And she then tells me if you cannot see the white lines in the center of the plate then it is considered over filled.. which is ridiculous. Because if she’s charging me $14 for each plate and my food has to stay within the white lines (small compartments) of the to go plate that is a complete rip off. Read moreSo this is a local Chinese buffet. Minimal to moderate choices. Food is OK. Nothing special. I think the service is very good in reference to the waitresses helping you out. Atmosphere is horrible. Has a very trashy feeling to it. The reason I gave it two stars is because the food is not bad. But I feel like it’s a very dirty place and I have pictures of cockroaches on my table. We did bring it up to the waitress and management only gave us 15% off each plate. That’s nice of them but don’t you think a refund or a bigger discount would be better with a nice apology from the owner? We never saw the owner, and they threatened to call the police if we didn’t pay for the meal. We never said we weren’t going to pay. We just wanted to bring up the cockroach. If the owner or management would’ve talked to us and been very apologetic. I wouldn’t have left such a bad review. If the owner sees this review, I hope he/she understands that the customer is always right that’s the difference between a good business a bad one. I am very disappointed with Great China. Food was kinda cold was told that fryers were not working that is why it was taking time to get fresh food out owner should get fixed if he/she knows how many guest they have.. People were waiting in line where food was.. waitresses were not so friendly seem upset even the two ladies that are in front need to learn to greet people and ask if everything was okay when customers leave. My husband took my son to restroom came back and told me he was taking my son to Big Lots and use restroom ask why and said it was plugged up told the two ladies in front and seemed not to care of what I was telling them they don't realize anybody can get sick it germs and cause bacteria they were very rude...I told them to go and put a sign outside the door an out of order and and one with glasses ignored what I was saying...we are paying customers and we shouldn't be treated like I was treated...owner needs to have friendly people if they can't handle the people like me they should not work there....both ignored...
