We are here now and I am not very satisfied. And I still have 4 more nights here to go.
Front desk workers are nice and prompt so far but the motel and rooms are not so nice or clean.
Walked into our room floors were dirty as in not swept or mopped.
There was drink spills on floor in between beds and floors were sticky.
Sheets and blankets were not change from prior guest because we found a head band in one bed and hair on the other. Sticky spot on one blanket.
Rooms are not wiped down or sanitized as they say.
I literally wiped everything down myself because all surfaces were dirty, sticky and had dust build up and shelf in between beds was sticky.
Phone does not work so couldn’t call front desk when and if needed.
We had no shower curtain and had to call from cell phone so I could inform front desk first and then run down stairs to get one.
Toilet seat moved all over the place so if you sat down it moved and slide to the sides off toilet.
Bathroom was sloppy cleaned, tub stop was thrown on floor and the shower head has not a pivoting head so it shoots high straight to back wall of shower spraying out of shower get floor and toilet wet regardless of shower curtain which ends up all soaked.
Refrigerator outside surfaces were dirty and had build up.
Regardless of all this after a long day on the road and being tired and late we made do and the most out of our situation.
In the morning I requested at the front desk if room service could please replace sheets and blankets on beds, clean bathroom and mop floors so that after for our remaining days we could maintain and keep up with our rooms especially due to the COVID-19 issues.
But sadly floors were not cleaned as swept or mopped and bedding for the beds were not replaced either.
Tomorrow morning I will literally be going to the store to purchase a broom, mop, bucket and cleaner to clean our room floors and we will be going down to front desk to request all new bedding and do it ourselves.
After that will handle our own trash and towels so we can keep our room clean and disinfected from others since we will not be needing their services since they aren’t really doing it any way with thoroughness.
The reason I picked this motel was because of it’s ratings and Simplicity, which means less surfaces to have to keep sanitized which help with COVID and due to it having flooring verses carpeting.
Has a good location but due to the lack of Cleanliness and Sanitizing not to happy especially after paying for services that are not kept up on a regular especially with COVID going on and that should be part of necessary room service.
Also can’t cancel without losing money due to booking online.
Oh and vending machines are broken...

*water pressure in shower is poor
i could tell my bathroom sink and counter had not been cleaned well due to seeing water stains still on faucet I really needed conditioner for hair ..and thought id use the complimentary packets most all hotels leave...uh..my room was given 2 shampoos instead of 1 each..
*my husband was very tired when we arrived and said "you go shop i want to rest and nap here at motel"
When i called after a couple of hours to see if i should bring something to eat for him..he told me he was up couldnt rest or nap due to CONSTRUCTION! hammers,drills! I was never informed of that going on That due to recent floods ..construction would be going on during the day
*to top off a dog was staying doors down that kept barking!
but the most disapointing thing that i really could not believe happened I had goody bags with home made popcorn and candy on them for my kids an grandkids back home As we were checking out my parents who also stayed helped take bags to car This bag of goodies stayed benind in lobby It wasnt until almost 6 hours later that im looking for bag and its nowhere to be found I called motel a Ruby answered and said id hv to call in morning to ask housekeeper I said no not left in room ..in lobby You hv cameras everywhere ..can you look to see who picked up so we can ask where it is She says let me check something ..comes back says items in fridge Taken out of bags not much left:( I was very sad about staff keeping it and taking it for themselves They could hv investigated to see who it was that left...i see that cameras are everywhere.. My parents were still stayn another night in which they could hv given it to them and at least give 24 hrs for guest to call and claim Its was just treats for kids ..but its just the fact that staff kept for themselves without even tryn to see who...
Read moreThe staff at this hotel was unprofessional and inconsiderate. The front desk clerk gave out our name to a stranger, which allowed him to sneak into our room while housekeeping was cleaning. He attempted to steal our belongings—thankfully, he only managed to take some waters and teas before being stopped. The maintenance worker noticed something suspicious, intervened, and made the stranger return our things. At that point, the stranger already had our luggage and personal items in hand, ready to walk out.
While we’re extremely grateful to the maintenance employee for stepping in, the rest of the staff—including the manager—failed to take accountability. Instead of apologizing, the manager tried to blame us by suggesting we had given out our key. The hotel wasn’t even going to inform us about the incident until we went to the front desk ourselves to ask why our items had been moved and why our drinks were missing. The front desk clerk was dismissive, and the manager was unprofessional, unhelpful, and unwilling to take responsibility for their mistake.
Housekeeping also needs to be much more careful, and the management needs to handle situations like this with professionalism, honesty, and concern for guest safety. We felt gaslit by both the manager and the front desk clerk, and we did not appreciate how the situation was handled.
The only positive was the maintenance worker, whose quick thinking prevented a bigger loss. Otherwise, this experience was unacceptable, and we will not be staying at this...
