I placed an online order for my family and arrived to pick it up through the drive-thru. The young lady at the window was polite and asked me to pull up near the front door as you exit the drive-thru, so they could bring the order out to me; no problem at all.
However, after watching several cars exit the drive-thru, I realized something was off. After the fifth car passed, I decided to go inside. When I walked in, I explained I was waiting for my food as instructed. The young man at the register asked for my name and quickly found my order. It had been sitting on the shelf the entire time.
What changed the experience for the worse was the managerâs attitude. Instead of offering a simple apology, he immediately demanded to see my receipt. I explained I had gone through the drive-thru and was told to wait outside, and that my receipt was in the car. He showed no interest in confirming this with his staff at drive-thru and continued to press for the receipt.
After retrieving it and returning inside, I witnessed another customer walk in, give just a name, and leave with their food. No receipt needed, no questioning. At that point, I requested a refund. When the manager asked why, I simply told him customer service.
Because customer service matters. Weâre not just paying for food; weâre paying for how weâre treated.

After a long day I didn't feel like cooking so I ordered at the drive thru, drove 10 min. home, took off my shoes, grabbed my iced drink, set up the table, sat down, and opened the box to find someone else's food. I gathered everything back up, put drink in fridge, put my shoes back on, drove back the 10 mins., asked for fresh food and a discount or coupon. They gave me the fresh food 1st then told me no discount. I was so disappointed and angry that I lost my appetite, but I feel bad returning the food all together because of the waste. I mean seriously panda express, I was asking for a meager discount, not free, I would've been happy with anything that shows a tiny shred of remorse, not even an I'm sorry for the mix up. Just nothing. I used to check all my food before I left any place, but now I'll no longer spend my money there. Thanks for not even trying. Check your food ppl.... I'm sure my iced drink is all watered...
   Read moreUpdate: we have downgraded this restaurant one star due to the most recent order. I'd like to add that we've been trying this store's Panda family meal. I recommend this option as a better value due to the large portions. Regardless, our first two orders were excellent. The portions were more than enough for a family of four with plenty of leftovers to cover another meal or so. Unfortunately our third order was cold. In fact the food seemed old which was very disappointing. At just over 30 dollars, we expect hot and fresh and this last order did not meet those expectations We will be placing one more order in the future and will thoroughly document that third order with photographs and a thermometer as evidence for our review.
