We visited this Culver’s in Wesley Chapel, lunch time on a Saturday, fall 2025. Saturday probably wasn’t the smartest time to visit. It seemed more like recess at your local elementary school, than lunch at your local fast food establishment. There were younger kids everywhere. Some of the children were somewhat well behaved. Others ran around like a free for all. I blame the parents for the later. Proper behavior and some discipline while in public seems to be a rare commodity anymore. But I guess it’s par for the course in these days. Either way, we probably should have known better, with it being Saturday. Be that as it may, I do not hold parents allowing their children to ruin everyone else’s meal, against Culver’s. The staff at Culver’s and the food was decent considering. It was not the best food that I’ve ever had at Culver’s either, but still good. And still way better than a lot of the competition. Like Freddie’s, Steak and Shake and some other’s, Culver’s seems to recognize the right formula for a proper burger joint. Golden arches, crowns, and pictures of your younger daughter do nothing, if the food isn’t good. Things like food and/or custard delivery to your table. Food cooked the old way, how you like it, with good tasting ingredients, to go with a clean laid out restaurant and good service works for Culver’s. So we went out of our way to find this Culver’s while traveling through on I-75. We could have found on of the big three burger joints much easier. But we wanted to enjoy our food, rather than just eat something. This Culver’s was a little out of the way for us. And the bad behavior that some parent’s inflict on the rest of rest of us, did hurt our lunch experience. But sometimes you have to deal with bad parent’s to have a good burger. And this Culver’s delivers what Culver’s...
Read moreMediocre food at MYSTERY PRICES! They brag about all their amazing side dishes, and about meal deals. Problem is when you want the meal with other sides, as sides AREN'T OPTIONS THEY ARE MANDATORY, unless you're willing to pay A WHOLE LOT MORE for mediocre fast food.
I found Culver's much more a business in marketing exploits, than reasonably priced convenient food.
Yes, if you happen to want exactly what they include in a meal deal, it's mehh ok food for the price. If and ONLY IF. Also, good luck getting an itemized receipt for a large order... Such gaming ways of charging require obscuring the details (which would piss you off).
No other fast food place muddles and confuses prices like this... Culver's is exceptionally CREEPY.
There's a new ad which just came by mail, it's all $1 off and a single b1g1free... I get adverts all the time from other fast food places, which actually say the PRICE and detail what you get, not Culver's.
A $1 off... What? Then you want fries or onion rings, it's a mystery what you will pay.
Not at BK, McD, or home of the Spicy Chicken sandwich Wendy's... They tell you the price and exactly what you get. (Clearly I love wendies spicy chicken above all fast food, but that doesn't change the forthrightness which just doesn't exist at Culver's)
P.S. had your Cod, it was weirdly wet yet impossibly overdone, and the breading wasn't buttery or flavorful, it was just greasy. Your fish was rechid, and overpriced. I could have gone to Bonefish for $5 more, and you just don't compare. (They even have sides I actually...

This is just your typical burger joint. There isn’t anything special about the burgers or fries. In my opinion, they are pretty average. However, the frozen custard is quite good. It is very creamy has great flavor and texture.
HOWEVER, MY RATING IS JUSTIFIED.
I needed condiments and visited the stand next to the soft drink station. While there a large ROACH came running across the counter, into the mayonnaise packet container. I cautiously pick up the containers that it on the counter and notify the staff. The problem is not only the lack of extermination for insects, but the staff’s lack of concern regarding the situation. The manager who appeared to be no more than 16 (however you could be an adult). 3-4 employees stood there having a conversation about the situation, rather than acting quickly to neutralize it. When I engage the manager to express my displeasure with the lackasdaisical approach he and his staff, he nonchalantly says he told someone to take care of it. There wasn’t one ounce of concern a customer was pointing out the establishment has roaches. They took so long to react the the roach was off and running into the other condiment areas. I’m over this place as cleanliness is not a priority. They need an exterminator and training the staff because it’s a kind of kids running this place.
Yes, I know this is a common occurrence in the food industry. It’s also coming for the appropriate measures to be taken to prevent and treat this...
