Third time visiting and probably my final time. The first time I visited last summer, I let the fact that my entree (chicken parm) was completely tasteless and unseasoned slide since the drinks and appetizers were so good, at that time. My second visit last fall was decent. It was brunch and we were there for my mom's 70th birthday where we were able to meet a world renowned WWE wrestler who gifted my mom a gift card for Noble Crust, thus giving us a reason to return in the future. We returned yesterday, hoping to have brunch but we were a bit too late and had to wait an hour to be seated while they transitioned from brunch to dinner, which I think is ridiculous, by the way. I don't understand why they couldn't seat us and at least just let us get drinks while they switched out the menu. We should've just left but we wanted to use up the gift card since we were already there. So we had to go to Panera to kill the hour and I grabbed a bagel and coffee to hold me over. Anyway, so this leads me to why I probably will never return. I think something may have changed between last fall and now because the main appetizer, FGBLT did not taste the same as the first two times I tried it. I even got an order to go and brought home to my husband and he said the same thing. Also, I order the steak frites with the truffle fries and the way it was cooked and looked, looked my my 11-year-old made it. Made my stomach turn to where I had to return it and I never do that. So I just got wings instead which were decent. I also ordered the lamb shank to bring home to my husband and that was very disappointing as well. I'm not sure if we are just used to more seasoned and flavorful food and this is normal for other people or what but it was very disappointing. Even my sister's fried chicken looked good but no seasoning whatsoever. So as I first concluded before, this place is only good for drinks and select appetizers. The service is okay most of the time and the ambiance is decent as long as they aren't trying to cram you into the high top tables by the bar next to other parties at the same table, just separated by a divider on the table top. That was way too uncomfortable and tight to the point we had to ask to be moved to another table where we had more space. I really like this restaurant and I hope some adjustments are made for a more...
Read moreWe came in to have an early dinner. Our overall experience was average. The Host team were very welcoming and sat us right away. Unfortunately, this restaurant does have seats in the front area that are completely metal and the most uncomfortable chairs to sit in. (As you could tell, I've been here before.) So, I immediately asked if we could have a booth instead. They said sure with a smile. 😁 I thanked them. Our server, Kaileigh, was nice but she didn't seem like she wanted to be at work today. 🤷🏻♀️ She answered my questions about the menu and gave me her opinions on certain selections which I appreciated. I ordered an Orange Creamsicle Cocktail drink...delicious 😋. My husband ordered his favorite drink....an Old Fashioned. He really enjoyed the 1st one so he ordered a second but when he got the 2nd one, it tasted completely different than the first. We were seated in a booth facing the bar. So, he decided to order a 3rd so he can see which bartender made the better Old Fashioned. We waited for over 10 minutes for the 3rd one. The 3rd one tasted like the 2nd so we now knew which bartender made the better Old Fashioned. So after he finished the 3rd one, he decided to order a final 4th Old Fashioned but we asked our server if she could please request that a certain bartender make the drink. I also ordered a Frozen Strawberry Cocktail drink. Apparently, requesting a particular bartender was not appropriate because our server came back and said they were cutting my husband off and will not serve him the 4th one and Kaileigh then left the table. I then had to ask her about my drink and if she was doing the same to me when I had only had one drink. Apparently, my drink had been sitting on the bar for a bit bc it was no longer frozen when she dropped it off. 🙄 Our food was pretty good. We ordered the Trufgle fries and wings for appetizers which were delicious 😋. As for our entrees... I ordered the Eggplant Parm, my husband ordered the Gnocchi and Lamb, and my son ordered the Smash Burger. They were all very good. We also ordered a Noble Pig pizza which is supposed to be good but it was ok. We were upset about the Old Fashioned and the level of service dropped after that. So, we will probably not be back to this restaurant again. We don't feel the the prices are worth it. We spent $173 dollars for 3 people for an average dining...
Read moreWe visit this place for weekend brunch about 4-5 times a month, so we’ve become regulars. The service is always 5* and the food is usually good-very good. However, our recent experience on Father’s Day left us disappointed and frustrated. First, the restaurant raised their prices because it was, and just for. Father’s Day. While it's understandable to offer special pricing on holidays, usually it’s to show appreciation or to have special offerings. Not usually to just raise prices of normal drinks 300-400%.
When we placed our order, we asked for a small modification to our usual breakfast sandwich: we simply wanted the bread and meat on the side, the way my wife always orders it, with zero issues. To our surprise, the staff informed us that they wouldn't accommodate any modifications that day, stating that they were "too busy." This felt especially off-putting, as there was no wait and the restaurant was less crowded than many other visits. It was essentially a “take it or leave it” situation. Feeling unappreciated, we politely decided to leave and go elsewhere where we could get our meal as we like it.
At that point, the service manager, TJ, came over and offered to adjust the price of our two mimosas to the normal weekend brunch rate and agreed to prepare our meal as we had originally requested. This gesture was appreciated, but it only came after we had already indicated that we would leave. It’s important to note that the service manager and servers did their best to make things right, and we don’t blame them for the situation. The issue lies with the restaurant’s leadership, who seemingly decided that Father’s Day was the perfect day to raise prices dramatically, refuse modifications, and treat loyal customers poorly.
To top it off, when the kitchen finally made our order (The Andouille Sausage Sandwich) , they used chicken sausage instead of andouille sausage and served it with only one slice of bread instead of two. I guess still showing they were going to make it their way today.
While we appreciate the service manager's effort to resolve the issue, it’s hard to overlook how disappointing the overall experience and decision to charge more than normal just because it was...
