I have been a customer for 10 years. I have a daughter that is bisexual. I never experienced a problem with bar attendant and with the manager., she was impaired when I spoke with her with the unprofessional treatment. I received with her bar staff. She felt I was rude with him. I wasn’t he was overwhelmed and disrespectful!!
I tried to explain she was dismissed!! As a professional HR professional it was very difficult to understand. As I mentioned I have been a customer from brass tap for 10 years never had a issues. As a DEI individual and someone that promotes diversity I felt he was being biased and the manger was as well. It very concerning and sad!! I understand that bass tap as a company need to be diverse but the management and staff need to also be open and to accept other options..:
I will never be a customer again or recommend my neighbor or friend to visit this establishment based on my experience after being a loyal customer for 10 years plus years . I am a 57 year person and never experienced this behavior from a bartender and manager. I learned customer is always right!! Especially a customer of...
Read moreThe staff are friendly and helpful and almost always very attentive. The majority of them are knowledgeable about the beers and can offer suggestions to help you pick a beer that you'll like. Speaking of the beer, they have a HUGE selection of beers on tap. Many of them are local, but they do a nice job of mixing up different styles. If you go regularly, join the Brew Crew club. I believe it's $10 or $15 bucks and you get a t-shirt. Then each time you hit a new tier, they give you a new shirt. They also have a leaderboard up where you can see how you stack up. It's a fun way to encourage you to try different beers and expand your palate.
They started offering appetizers a couple years ago. I highly recommend the beer cheese and pretzels. They chop the pretzels up into bite size pieces which you dip into the cheese. Very nice and goes pretty well with beer.
There are several TVs which have sports on, but they usually have music playing over the sound system. Most of the time the volume is low enough that you can have a nice conversation, but on weekend nights it can get...
Read moreCHECK YOUR BILL! This place was cool years ago when it opened but went way downhill the last few years. Their new trick, however, is to always overcharge the customers for beers and hope they don’t notice. So I just left there and while was there was joking with my guests that the last 3 times I went there they tried to overcharge me for beer over the printed menu price or happy hour price. Sure enough the bill came and 2 of the 3 beers were higher than the menu price. So, this is 4 straight visits. Once or twice I can chalk up to mistakes. The 3rd time I got suspicious. 4 times in a row and it is clear this is the business plan. Probably a lot of people don’t notice. Every time I point it out, the server doesn’t really seem to care but just places a credit on the bill. They never get the wrong price corrected in their computer. Hey Carissa, the jig is up! Stop...
