I've given this place far too many chances and yet they continue to unimpressed at every chance.

The final time was tonight, in where I ordered 2 burgers, fries, a fish fry, and 2 ice creams. Order was taken at 8:47 according to the ticket. After about 10 minutes, number was called and handed the order, well, not all the order. The Ice creams (Banana Split + Cashew craze) were missing. The gentleman that handed over the food and quickly walked away without as much as a slight check to see if everything was there. Only after calling him back did he take even a moment to confirm the order. He then apologized and went off to what I assume was either locate the ice creams or have them made. Another 5 minutes pass, my food still sitting on the counter and I watch as a couple who walked in very shortly before receiving my food, walked out with their Banana Split, Cashew Craze, and multiple ice cream cones. After a total of 20 minutes have passed, I finally was handed my ice creams, lets make a note that it did not get walked over from where the rest of the ice cream was located, it was somewhere else.

A complaint to the "Manager" was met with a "Would you like me to remake the food sir?" After passed issues with food being wrong and typically being disappointed with quality. I passed on that offer since I did not want to wait another 10 minutes while now my ice creams sat on the counter.

On to the food. The fries: $2.00 for this? WHAT? The soggy bag of potato slop I think may give Mc D's small a run for size. This was simply pathetic. Island Burger: (No Pickles) Can you guess whats coming here? Of course, pickle must be shorthand for tomato according to the cooks. got no tomato and full of pickles Wasted $4.50, had to be tossed. Patty melt: This one was for myself, Like the fries, just a soggy mess. The bread had no toast to it what so ever, it was just rye bread, that is it. Has more of dripped in butter feel and taste then actually grilled back on the skillet. Stick to a Mushroom Swiss burger, you might not be as disappointed. Made it half way through before I couldn't deal with the soggy butter taste.

And the Fish Fry: Well, this one was taken out of the room before I could even see it. However, I'll say that it was touted as "Very Good." Perhaps they can get something right among the mistakes.

The ice creams. It was a whole balmy 55 or so degrees, one of those hot Wisconsin nights. After a 2 minute drive home, I looked to my seats only to see the ice cream bag wet. I'm sure this is a good thing! Not much to my surprise, it would appear that the lid was not set on the banana split and was leaking all over. My guess is that they mistakenly thought my ice creams was for drive through and they sat over by the window for a good 5-10 minutes before they were handed to me, thus on how it was a mess within a short drive. I suppose I can take blame for the ice cream, I should have known better other then to glance inside the bag when they were handed to me. Perhaps then I would have noticed that beneath the toppings that it was a melted mess of what was once ice cream.

Big Deal Burgers needs to take a step back and rethink the name in my opinion. I could be wrong, the burger itself might be good, but it is hard to tell among the soggy bun and flash cooked toppings they add to it. There are far better options in the Milwaukee area for a butter burger. I suggest taking the extra travel distance if you crave a quality...

It was one of the worst experiences 😪 I've ever had. I walked in, hoping there would be one Vegan burger or any plant based option. There was little to nothing. I ordered a small salad and a small cup of tomato soup, which the reason for the 2 stars for service was for the vegetarian girl that took our order that lmk the tomato soup had a chicken broth which is SO unnecessary and 😝 gross. I just thank God she was knowledgeable. Therefore, I ordered French fries. Next, unfortunately, we received our food and saw that we got onion rings instead of the fries.....I went up to the counter to tell the guy I received the wrong item and proceeded to tell me to get what I ordered, the fries, I would have to return the onion rings after we opened them and they couldn't be resold,so they could throw them in the garbage 😢 and make the fries instead. I said, "Why can't my friend eat the rings if you are going to throw them away 😤 "..... He said it's their policy and never apologized for the mistake on their behalf. I told them I'll never be back. I also had initially told the vegetarian counter girl who took our order that I had 2 service dogs, and she said that was fine as long as they were certified service dogs. I said yes. My friend and I finished the lack of food and were talking when after 45 minutes of this horrible experience a DIFFERENT worker came up to our booth and asked if my dogs were pets as they both had BRIGHT RED service dog harnesses on!!!!!! I told him that I could show him my paperwork, but that's against the law. This was a terrible experience, and I will be spreading this on social media, especially to my Vegan community. Lastly, the sad thing is we had just left Church to have a small bite to eat. What a terrible idea and experience 😕 Run far away from...

Well went to this burger place by force of an elder former coworker friend since he was hungry and does toy models. One of them was at the veterans hospital nearby on National Rd. Anyways I was really hungry and he made a "Big Deal" (no pun intended) about this place being the best up in Milwaukee. I was offered a free meal for lunch despite being moody for a 20 minutes drive from the VA hospital cafeteria food. Anyways I ordered the "Big deal" burger meal and waited. The meal cost $15+ estimate without tax but I had a free be. As we received our order It was a big burger with 3 patties and steak like thick fries. I never heard of this place and I vowed to make my review but after tasting their "Big deal" burger It was a "meh" good and didn't taste the big deal my coworker and his elder friends ranted about? The beef patties tasted similar to another burger franchise called "Checker" burgers back in Chicago, Illinois. I was not that impressed. Their French fries they gave was also a "Meh" good and was a bit salty. The texture was good but too much salt. I would rather eat a "Culver's" butter burger over this despite quantity of beef patties over quality of beef patties. I would eat this only if I was really hungry or nearby this place but this would be the last place in Milwaukee Wisconsin I would think of going first. I would not even do cartwheels to bring myself to this place. Anyways that's my 2 cents advise and experience of eating her. It's better than Burger King or McDonald's. But not as good as a "Culver's" burger. I would eat a "Wendy's" double stack...

This place was much better than I was expecting and that's not a backdoor compliment. It's just that when it comes to faster or fast food burgers, I've come to expect a certain level of quality (not all that high of a level) and this place definitely surpassed my expectations. I was attending the Lego Brickworld event at the fairgrounds and I just wanted a good, simple burger. I had never heard of this place but after a quick Look at the menu on-line, I gave it a shot. Simple set-up. Nice, but not overwhelming menu. They have burgers, gyros, and Reubens as well, along with quite a few other options. Prices are actually pretty good for the quality of what I had. I had a double cheeseburger, nice sized order of fries and good sized soda for just over $10. That might not sound like a great deal but once I saw the size of the burger and tasted it, I had no problem. I should also mention that if I hadn't ordered the extra paddie for $2, my meal would have been about $7.90 and would have still been big enough for 90% of the population. A good quality of meat, two 1/3 pound paddies and cheese served in a paper bag. What's not to love? The fries were good but they did have a level of greasiness that was nice but after a whole bag, I had enough. For me, the fries were a perfect size to split with someone else. Service was good and everyone was friendly. Nice outdoor seating area. Pretty clean for a place with so much traffic. Overall, if you want a good burger, then this is a good place to go.

Edit edit: I don't like fries but I love Big Deal fries! Edit: Actual solo burger price is $0.65-$1.00 more than the menu. Even a year later the prices are the same on the menu but you charge more. UPDATE YOUR MENU, HOW HARD CAN IT BE? Want me to do it for you? I know all about these menus. also service very slow at the end of the night, new crew from what I see. Not rude but not polite either. (Original review follows here) First time here. Excellent polite fast service. Burger was great, I just ordered the 1/3 lb with cheese, grilled onions, ketchup. Even with the necessary price increase, was only $4.99+tax. I saw they had tiramisu custard so I went back through the drive through, $4 for a pint (edit, $7 or $8 2024) was marvelous. Again courteous service from another employee at the window. nice little area outside to eat with aggregate stone tables and benches, but the weather didnt agree. SO MUCH NICER than (that other place on hwy 100) up the street which seems to be a hangout for riffraff and drug users. Going here tomorrow to buy my 2-man crew dinner. Going to try the Big Deal burger, also a reasonable price, it is a legend where I work! Sorry no photos of my burger, I couldn't wait.
