We won't eat here again. This place has gone down hill.
My Family and I have been going here since 1994 A.D., back when it was called Omega's Restaurant.
Back then, they had really Good food and really Good service.
Later on it became Pegasus Restaurant and it went down the hill.
The food is not Good anymore and neither is the service.
We were there about 6 Months ago and some of our party ordered Roast Beef which had spoiled Gravy on it.
The waitress brought the Roast Beef which had spoiled Gravy on it.
We informed the waitress about this.
The waitress took the plate back and went to complain to the owner about it.
The waitress and the owner were about 30 feet away talking.
I could read their lips. I learned how to read lips when I was with The United States Air Force.
The waitress was complaining to the owner that we sent the Roast Beef back because it was spoiled.
We saw the owner take a bite of the Roast Beef from the plate that we sent back and then tell the waitress that it was not spoiled.
The Roast Beef was spoiled. I used to be a Investigator with The United States Government and I used to help inspect food. I know what spoiled food is.
The owner and the waitress obviously did not count on me being able to read lips from across the room.
The owner then put the plate of Roast Beef in the bin with the dirty dishes.
Then the owner told the waitress to put the Roast Beef back in the pot in the kitchen and they could reserve it.
That is disgusting.
I ordered a cup of coffee.
The waitress brought me a cup of coffee with Yellow liquid Cheese floating in it and all down the outside of the cup.
I showed it to the rest of my party that was with me.
I asked them "How could the waitress not see liquid Cheese floating in the coffee and down the outside of the cup?"
We had to flag down the waitress to come back because she kept ignoring us.
I showed her the cup of coffee with the liquid Cheese floating in it and down the outside of the cup.
I showed the waitress the cup of coffee with the liquid Cheese floating in it and down the outside of the cup.
I asked politely asked the waitress "How could you serve me this and not see the liquid Cheese floating in it and down the outside of the cup?"
The waitress said "Sorry. I will bring you a New cup of coffee".
At that point, we paid the bill and we left.

Read moreEXCELLENT! Food. Service. Management. 5*. May I suggest the 16 ounce New York strip? Take a look at my pictures. I posted nearly 50. You can see pictures of our meal and the dessert case. They are open 24 hours. Located across from WI state fair park. 1 end block from the New hotel. Our waitress this time was Edna. She got our order perfect. Even waiting to put our steak order in when we were ready. Wish I took a picture of the beautiful salad she created. The owner, pictures shown, was kind enough to bring out our selections of the two 16 ounce NY strips for our approval. What service! We felt as though we were eating at a $100.00 a plate steak house. Instead our steaks were $18.95 you have your choice of soup or salad. Soups change daily. Always 2 different ones offered. Friday's they have clam chowder. The best. I forget the day they have chicken tortilla soup. Wow is that good! Definitely something you need to try. We also got a bread basket, comes with all dinners and suppers. The bread is sliced fresh by your waitress, just for you. Our beautiful tasty steaks came with sautéed mushing, grilled tomatoes (my fav), grilled mini yellow and green zucchini with a light tasty seasoning. You also get the choice of a free glass of wine or beer, or one of their beautiful desserts. Whether you're a local or a traveler this is an excellent place for a great meal. They also have an amazing lunch (dinner) special. Your choice of 5 different sandwiches (half), the French dip is awesome! Plus a house side salad (quite large and with all the yummies ) plus a cup of soup. For only $5.95 very filling and satisfying. It's a bargain you won't see elsewhere. We have been dining here since 2001. Steady customers. Stop on in, get a great meal. Sit by one of the 3 large fish tanks, or find a little book for privacy, or there are lots of window seats to see the goings on...
Read moreEveryone is very nice and service is fast, it's just nearly impossible to get a breakfast that isn't either very oily, high carb, or both, and with the extra 50¢ per egg charge, the prices are similar to newer, fancier brunch restaurants with creative menus and lovely fruit cups as an option at no extra cost instead of a pile of greasy potatoes.
Also, they need to know what chicken and waffles is supposed to look like. Someone in my party ordered it and there was a very dry, flat, deep fried chicken breast that wasn't breaded. It was just a plain chicken breast, desiccated, sitting on top of a waffle. That person didn't eat almost any part of their order because they were so disappointed. With the extra egg charge they basically threw out $15.50.
My group went to Pegasus for years and now we just see which brunch place has an opening on their waitlist, which can be checked online easily these days. Other restaurants in the area are charging an egg fee, but not the nicer ones, so why not just go to a restaurant that has fruit options and healthier choices for about the same price?
Best of luck to this business, it's doing very well. But I'm done with it after decades, and I do mean decades. Back when it was still Omega, even. Which definitely means I'm too old to be eating a plain grease bomb...
