Edited to be a one-star. Your response was offensive and did not address the main concern. Also, I've read the other reviews. Do you also defend the "Stevie" employee? Your staff sucks but it makes sense now with the response from their superior. Good luck folks.
We stayed there last weekend. While the hotel room and pool were quite nice, I can't give a good review because of the way my mom was treated when we left. My mom had a ring (worth about $100 but very sentimental) which she had left on the nightstand. We both clearly remember where she left it. We noticed we forgot it within an hour of leaving so we called right away. We did not get the response we expected. The hotel told us the room had already been turned over and there was no ring. They didn't even try to ask anyone else, anyone who may have seen the ring. They dismissed mom without even bothering to check. When my mom requested they ask around to see if anyone has seen it, the person got very defensive and accusatory, telling my mom their employees don't steal. She in no way suggested theft, simply that they ask as it has only been an hour and maybe not turned in yet. The person on the phone made my mom feel so guilty that she just accepted the ring is gone. I am upset about how my mom was treated and I personally feel that the ring was taken. We both know where it was left and the hotel didn't even bother to help us but instead acted defensively. At the very least, the hotel should apologize to my mom for the way staff...
Read moreWe loved staying here. We spend 3 nights in a spacious, comfortable 1-bedroom suite. This suite has two TVs with Netflix, You tube etc. This room didn’t have a kitchen stove, but there was a dishwasher, sink, refrigerator and microwave as well as all necessary cutlery and a dining zone with a table and four chairs. Breakfast was decent - waffles, oatmeal, omelette, muffins with egg and turkey. The coffee was bad as everywhere else. We were a little disappointed by the hotel staff. The person who served breakfast was rude and unprofessional. We came for breakfast at 8:40 and didn’t see anything hot. I asked Kyila if they have more eggs, and she displeasedly answered “it’s coming” In 10 minutes I asked her again. Then she brought an omelette and said: “I don’t have to serve you because it’s 8:53 now”. I replied that we were here at 8:40, so she just said - “you don’t need to expect any food if you are coming at 8:40” (What?) She repeated this three times, and I asked - please don’t be rude and we can be here anytime from 6 to 9 because that’s the breakfast hours. This made me very upset and disappointed and when the next morning I saw this employee again I didn’t even want to eat. I think this employee deserves at least a conversation with hotel manager… Overall, great place to...
Read moreThis hotel should have received a 5 star rating. It is a new hotel. The room was big. The bed was comfortable as was the pillow. I managed to sleep well. The location is good. It has been quiet at night and West Allis seems to me like a good suburb of Milwaukee.|Unfortunately, some things went wrong, which shouldn't have:|1) The Shampoo bottle was empty when I entered the room. When I showered, I managed to squeeze just a bit to wash my hair, but that was it.|2) The room I got (I asked for a room facing the back and perhaps this was the only choice at the time of my check in) was on the first floor, behind the outdoors barbecue area. On my second night, some guests used barbecue oven in the back, and the stench got to my room.|On that, I would have given the hotel a lower score hasn't it been for the people at the reception who gave me a good service. When I complained on the empty shampoo bottle, I got a new bottle delivered to my room. I especially want to commend Lamont, who worked in the evenings which helped me with several things, including how to mitigate the barbecue smell problem.||A tip - Avoid room 109 if you want to refrain from smelling the smoke of the...
