Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in West Carrollton

Food was fine, but the service was HORRIBLE! I ordered my pizza right before 11, and they close at 11:30, so I planned on tipping $20 at pick up, but when I arrived at the WC location the neon sign was off & the doors were locked! So I called the store because I was confused & the girl (dark hair& glasses)who answered was unbelievably rude for no reason! Pretty much treated me like an idiot! How am I supposed to know that you guys lock your doors because people get robbed at gunpoint outside your location..🤔 This girl was so rude that I really wanted to say screw it & just leave, but my boyfriend really wanted the pizza so I kept my composure & met her at the door to grab our food.. If she would've approached the situation nicely, she would've gotten a nice tip,but instead she wanted to be hateful so whatever!

Here's pretty much how the phone call went:(anytime I've ever called PJ I'm directed to the call center, but I guess this time I was directed to the actual store)

Me- Hi, I just called in & ordered my pizza about 15 minutes ago,drove out to the WC & the lights are off & the door is locked?? I'm kind of confused because they don't close until 11:30 & it's 11:14, I know you can't do much about that, I just want to make sure the order is canceled that way I'm not flagged & they don't think I just didn't show up..

Her- UM WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!! WHO IS THIS?! Me- (confused) who is this? Her- Papa Johns Me- oh ok, sorry, yea I'm here but the light is off and the door is locked? Her- um the lights are definitely on...are you at the right location? Me- yea next to Bo Jangles? & yes the lights are on, but the neon open sign is off and the doors are locked... Her- Well yea...ofcourse the doors are locked...people get robbed at gunpoint out there! Me- ok...... Her- So do you want your food or no? Me- yea... Her- ok...$32.51 I'll meet you at the door!

I met her at the door,grabbed my pizza & rolled out ...she came outside to smoke as I was pulling off, so I yelled out my window that she just lost out on a $20 tip bc her attitude sucked!

I will never come back to this...

This place just cannot get it right. I never write reviews but my experience with this location tonight just pissed me off. Not only did I wait an hour for my food to arrive but it was wrong. They got my sons pizza wrong but everything else was good to go. My fiancé called and told them and they were going to remake it and send it out with the two extra garlic cups we ordered that we didn’t get the first time. So another 45 minutes go by and it’s still not here. So she calls again and the lady that answered was a little rude. Started talking to someone in the background then handed the phone to the manager without saying please hold. Well the manager states that the pizza was remade two more times and was made the same way both times (so still not right) and they delivered the remade pizza to the wrong address. So it was remade wrong two more times and delivered to someone else. So they are remaking it now and will send it back out but its already been over two hours for my sons pizza. They could have called to let us know what was going on because if she wouldn’t have called we still would be waiting and it’s been over two hours so far just for one corrected pizza and two extra garlic sides. I’ve never been so disappointed in any restaurant EVER and I’ve had some pretty bad service and never wrote a review before but this one takes the cake. It is currently 8:10 pm and we ordered our food at 5 something close to 6 and still no corrected pizza. I guess I will continue to call until I get my correct food I ordered and paid for until they can...

I've tried this place twice for delivery since moving to the area. Both times, I explicitly told them to leave it at my door and NOT knock or call, instead text. Both times, they pounded on my door, rang my doorbell, stood out there for 10 minutes, AND called multiple times.

Giving 2 stars because I don't know if papajohns.com gives them the information they need to do this properly so this may have been an honest attempt to deliver good service and the food itself was actually quite good when we could eat it, but honestly, I won't be shopping here again. I can't afford these kinds of interruptions while I'm in meetings.

And to top it all off, the quality seal was broken on my pizza the second time, with no easy way to get a replacement or...
