Drove over an hour away to enjoy the night with my fiancé and family and was told there was a 2 hour wait. Waited for over two hours and was told that we were next in line. Manager came out and said it’s going to be at least another hour for the party of 6. I told him that the lady told us we were next in line and that 8 people just left. He said ok well there’s a whole in your jeans so I can’t allow you in. I was wearing designer blue jeans, a button up, dress shoes and a dress trench coat. The whole in my jeans was not an actual whole but a simulated whole in the jeans. It felt very racial and not right considering the fact that the people who were leaving were not dressed nearly as nice as I was. Should have told me that when I made the reservation over 2 hours ago in person. The bar is located between a strip club and a whole in the wall bar with a food truck parked out front. We pride ourselves on traveling between Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Tennessee to find some of the nicest speakeasy’s around and this was the first time I was not allowed in one. I will NEVER try to come back to this one and would not recommend anyone to go through what I...

Tucked away behind an unassuming entrance, this new speakeasy—helmed by the former owners of The Bluenote—delivers an effortlessly cool atmosphere with a nod to the Whisper Sisters. The vibe is spot-on: dimly lit, intimate, and infused with a vintage charm that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
The cocktail menu is as eclectic as the space itself, with inventive spins on classics. We sampled Marnie’s Revolver, Mame’s Old Fashioned, and a beautifully balanced Hibiscus Martini—each crafted with precision and priced appropriately for the quality.
On a Thursday evening, we arrived without a reservation and were seated immediately, with only one other couple in the room. While that made for a quieter experience, the space still exuded a sense of exclusivity and intrigue. We’ll definitely be back—especially when the live band is playing—to experience the full vibe.

Read moreThis place poses theirselves as a “Speakeasy” ( a place of defiance in the face of the prohibition. Aka the age where drinking was illegal.) A place where one could avoid the law and silently have a relaxing drink, in a time where rights weren't always established/obeyed. Today it’s a symbol for that time, and a cool quaint place to go for the eclectic and exotic. Today this place turned our service down today with as little as 15 minutes till closing time, with next to nobody in the bar, because we came from a masquerade bar while in costume. As we were dressed in the time of the prohibition. We were told by the owner “Absolutely not!” They would rather have Daytonian wardrobe of Levi Jeans and flannel shirts than someone with an eclectic taste and style. This has got to be the weakest speak easy we have ever been to. With all this it lays next to a strip club, (Cheeks), on top of a sports bar known for its lac luster, unintelligent, drug infested clientele. Double thumbs down...
