I have time today :) grab a snack. just not from here. Service 0 stars because they have no clue how customer service works. How sorry I feel for the employees who have a management team who cant pull a simple conclusion out of their pocket. Choose your battles wisely.
I placed an order on 12/12/23 at 10:30pm through DoorDash. I ordered a Large Spicy Chicken Combo Meal. Choose medium chili out of 13 sides listed. large strawberry lemonade & a medium chocolate frosty. My dasher contacted me to let me know that the frosty and chili were unavalibe. I asked if they could switch my side for any of the other 12 items listed on DD. They told my dasher it was "against company policy" to switch items on the order. A bit confused, working in food service management myself, I called Wendy's. A miserable sounding woman answered the phone. No introduction. I explained the situation to her. When asked her how not being able to replace a side for another side made sense , all she said was "I don't know." I asked if she was a manager, she is not. When I asked to speak to a manager she forgot to put me on hold. ;) He proceeded to get on the phone. No introduction. Explained the situation once more and he went in to tell me about how he used to be able to do this & how his GM just got fired and now he doesn't know" ext. I asked how not being able to switch out a side made sense to him, as the manager. It did not. He said "well I guess you could have switched it with fries" I asked why my dasher was refused. "I don't know"
Out of all 13 sides, I suppose fries is all this...
Read moreDouble check your food, especially if you have dietary restrictions. They got my food incorrect, and have not offered an acceptable solution to fix it.
Update 6/30/25 I placed a mobile order for a combo with a baked potato, and they were out of baked potatoes. They were really nasty with me and told me that I needed to get my refund in the app, but they processed the order and charged me for it, so I cannot cancel the order and I cannot get a refund through the app. Since they processed the order, I asked to just get my food. They said that they couldn't give me my food either. 😐
I spoke with the manager who was extremely rude. I asked for her name and she wouldn't give it to me. She clearly knew that she had screwed up and didn't want me giving her name to the higher-ups.
Of course, their toll-free customer support number is closed at this time.
This location also constantly keeps their lights off so that they look like they're closed at night. I even told the manager that the lights weren't on and she argued with me that they were, as I'm sitting there staring at a dark menu screen. One employee also flicked me off as I drove around the building and left. Simply because I wanted my food or a refund. I left with neither.

Read moreWe will never go back to the Wendy's in WC, we've had issues for awhile with them not putting all our food in the bag and little things like that, that is going to happen from time to time but never like this. My husband went in to get us some lunch and the place was nasty. Loogies all over the windows, the ketchup machine was torn apart and there was a big bag of ketchup sitting on the counter for people to use. The people who were working were horrible. The woman taking orders was on a personal phone call the whole time and not paying attention to the customers, many customers tried saying thank you to her and she ignored. The man cooking the food was upset my husband asked for cheese sauce and sighed and said in front of everyone "Why does everyone want cheese sauce?". They didn't give me or offer a lid to my cup even though they had some. All my nuggets were dumped in the bag, and instead of putting the cheese sauce on my husband's burger, they just gave us a chili cup full of it. We feel just so horrible for all the older people that were in there that went for a nice lunch :/
