I tried to buy multi-hundred dollar furniture item in store that was on the shelf, advertised as ready to be sold. It was one of the items that, for some reason, requires standing around at the kiosk and waiting for pickup, a garbage system I was dismayed to discover after not shopping there for some time. Almost a half an hour later, I am informed the item is not in stock after my wait number just disappeared from the screen.
We stood around for almost another 25mins waiting for a solution, which we weren't offered a choice in. A worker came out and started setting the item to ship. After the wait and poor service, this was fine enough... except the order never came. Ikea told us to call the shipping company. They told us to call Ikea.
I go to the store and go to the desk I was at before to ask for help with a return. They say I need to check in at another kiosk and wait around at yet another desk for help. When my turn comes up, the worker asks if I called. I say yeah, and explain getting the run around. I said I am not interested in another solution, I want a return. This worker actually had the gall to say she doesn't have the solution for me and copped and attitude before saying she was going to refer me to someone else.
I was given another number to call and still do not have my item or my money. An absolutely garbage shopping experience and custom service experience. I will not be shopping at Ikea again and if calling this number does not resolve the issue, I am going to look into how to take legal action against the company for wasting my time and obfuscating the return process to steal money. Want to prove me wrong, Ikea? Give me back my money! What kind of nonsense is it that it can't be taken care of in store? What is the point...
Read moreVery limited hot menu options but still some excellent basic fare that tastes good yet not too unhealthy - our fav so far is the chicken tenders (better than KFC which is drenched in oil yet not as tasty) & the meatballs (who doesn't love meatballs). We also like their offerings like sandwiches, salmon options and desserts but I don't think those prices are worth it for cold items. A big plus is if you have a free Ikea membership, you get diff discounts on most food items + some really good unlimited coffee for free daily (let then know if it's not hot and they'll poor a fresh batch on).
Only reason I took away a star is because it's very crowded unless you get there on weekdays - though it's not Ikea's fault (or maybe it is for being so good :) ). So really this is 5 stars for weekdays and 3 stars...
Read moreAll the food is very food, if you are looking to try something new try there Swedish meetballs. The meetballs are very good and they pair it with a gravy like sauce that is not to think and not to watery. They have an asortment of drinks to choose with your meal. The chiken is nice and jucie, the french fries tase hot and fresh, they also have garlic bread that is cruny on the outside and soft on the inside. We also had chocolate cake that was so sweet we didnt finish and took it home to share with my dad and sister. Overall considering that ikea is kinda like a hardware store the food is verygood and the experience is cool and is very...
