OK, I wanna give a mixed review because I’ve been a dstrkt before granite. The prices are extremely high, but I came in for the floutas a little while ago and they were so so good when I say a while ago I mean like 2 to 3 years ago now I recently heard about the bottomless wings and I thought that was pretty cool and my sister really wanted to check it out so I came to check it out and Sat at the bar after waiting outside for two hours and I put my name on the list two hours before but my name supposedly got skipped over on accident multiple times perfectly fine. They got us a seat at the bar. We sat down and we ate took another 45 minutes for our food to come Now we came in ordered what we needed to order. Then we waited for our wings and when our wings came, everyone is right fall off the bone 3 out of 10 wings for me. My sister loved them, but that is my review now I did not appreciate at the end. She decides our server who was extremely nice. She was very kind, but she did not tell us the rules or how the things worked. I was on the website. I didn’t see anything so I assumed everything was good. We ordered some drinks. We ordered fries and we got our wings now I didn’t appreciate her not telling us that you have to pay for every Wing you don’t eat & every wing you take to go Not only that I did not appreciate gratuity being included when on the website it states gratuity is included on $50 checks or more. All of our checks were about $40! Then the gratuity was included now I work in the industry. I’ve been working in the industry for 10 years now I know how to tip, but I also know how to lay down the rules when there is a special going on and that I did not like now I also will say my second round of wings came out and they were the mushiest things that I ever had. I never had mushy wings and I didn’t want them and if you think I’m going to pay for mushy wings that is ridiculous And then charge me for it because I didn’t want to eat them. I would’ve ate them if they weren’t mushy I also wasn’t gonna stay in this establishment for four hours total to get another set of wings. So all they say was $21 for bottomless wings not to mending 30+ dollars for parking because it took so long and I only had six of them so it wasn’t worth it to me if you do a deal like this I love it but you gotta do a bit better with communication and understanding your customers. Not to mention, security was out of control rude only the...
Read moreI'm giving this place two stars primarily because it has been a reliable late-night option, closing at 2 AM when other places are shutting down. I've been here a few times before, and the food has always been decent. The lively music sets the mood for dancing, making it a great spot if you enjoy loud beats.
However, my recent experience left much to be desired. I brought some friends visiting from Germany, and after a long day of filming, we decided to check it out around 12:40 AM. Unfortunately, our night took a turn for the worse. We waited until 1:00 AM to get our initial drinks, and even then, service was slow. By 1:20 AM, we were ready to order a second round, which didn't arrive until 1:30 AM.
To our surprise, just minutes after receiving our drinks, a staff member announced last call, and security began ushering people out & yelling “we are closed”. We were told to leave at 1:29 AM, even though the establishment closes at 2 AM. The security personnel hovered over our table, urging us to leave, while others were also exiting. I found this treatment quite rude.
I explained that we had just received our 2nd drinks, and it was only 1:30 AM, meaning we still had time according to their closing hours. Despite being paying customers who had ordered drinks, we were told to finish drinks quickly as we headed toward the exit. My friends from Germany were disappointed with this service, and I felt a bit embarrassed because I had recommended this place highly.
I've visited various bars and lounges before, and what sets them apart is that they typically don't ask patrons to leave before their closing time. In my experience, when a place says they're closing at 2 AM, it usually means they start the process of cleaning up and closing down at that time, rather than prematurely asking customers to depart. I personally consider this practice...
Read moreI absolutely hate leaving negative reviews because I deeply understand the ups and downs of day to day work. However, when there are stark issues present it would be an injustice not to let it be known especially when patronizing an establishment. For starters I spent about an additional 1.5 hours longer than expected because tonight’s Bartender was absolutely nonexistent. I arrived there a little after 6pm, washed my hands and sat at the bar. The Bartender told me “he would be right with me.” However, it was about 30 minutes til he serviced me. There were 6 people at the bar(including me) and I was the only new attendee. When he finally approached me I asked about happy hour and menu specials…..Perhaps that was enough for him to gage whatever opinion that led him to think to ignore me for the rest of the night. I placed an order for a margarita and after that he never serviced me for the rest of the evening. I was sitting there for over an hour with one drink and no service. Eventually I flagged down the floor server and just placed an to order to go with him and the floor server brought me my order to go. Once I had my order in hand the bartender brought me my receipt in which he runs me up for two drinks instead of one and he corrected it. I dine well and love to tip well and take care of severs so I wish this wasn’t the case, but I’m not sure what led him to carry himself in that manner. Lastly, 3 men walked in before I departed and that same Bartender stood at attention for those men and served them beer immediately. Perhaps he was tired from the small crowd. However, the...
