We had a 1:45 reservation to Paradise Park because I felt like it would be a cool spot to take my sister since it’s her first time in town.

After sitting around for 10 minutes, our friend Niko, takes our drink order. After another 10 minutes, we finally received our drinks (from someone else) and had to ask him to take our food order.

We waited as our food trickled in, with no more appearances from Niko. He never came to refill our water pitcher that we had finished or ask if we wanted more beverages after we finished our first ones. After all our food had arrived (by other staff), we were able to catch him and order another beverage.

After plenty of waisted time and being completely ignored, we asked for the check and two to go boxes. We waited 15 minutes for him to bring the check. And knowing his behavior, I placed the card in immediately, but he had already walked away. Then we had the pleasure of watching him talk to the front staff for 10 minutes while we waited to literally just leave.

Safe to say at this point, I was absolutely disgruntled by the poor quality “service.” So I was not feeling generous when it came time to tip. Which is wild because I have literally never tipped below 25%. But it was genuinely that bad. We paid and at this point were just waiting for boxes, which we expected to take forever by this point as well. But after 10 minutes, and watching the table next to us ask for boxes, and receive them immediately, we get his attention and remind him we are waiting for those boxes.

To which he says that he would, but we “only tipped 9% and he doesn’t work for free.” And then storms off to the back. I go to the bar and ask for boxes, which I honestly should have just done the entire time because it would have made things go ten times faster.

It was a frustrating experience, but Tony was very on top of things and handled the situation promptly, generously, and with a lot of care. It very much feels they are concerned with the customer experience and they handled the situation quite well. I do believe this is an isolated incident and not a reflection on the establishment. So for that reason, I will be back, and have chosen to still recommend paradise park as a very fun place to get good food and...

AVOID. Honestly, I came here with friends because it was highly rated. Without a reservation, there was no wait, which I appreciated, but the entire restaurant was packed.

Despite this, I had high hopes, however felt like I was let down. The service was mediocre and slow. The waitress was still especially slow, and seemed to just want me to order as quick as I could. While I was asking questions, she was pretty short and just wanted to get over with the ordering process. It made me feel rushed and I ended up ordering the Poke Bowl, which was lackluster and below average. My friends got the Fig Jam pizza, and the whipped feta appetizer. The poke bowl, while fresh had minimal sauce and tasted pretty bland overall. I found the lack of flavor to bring the dish down. My friends enjoyed the fig pizza, but it didn't quite taste like it was described, almost heavy on the fig (a sweeter tasting pizza really). The whipped feta was delicious though. It took approximately 40-50 minutes for our food to come out, and in that meantime our waitress was ignoring us anything we would try to get her attention or talk to her.

I feel as though the atmosphere was also loud and bustling and just so hard to hear other people as well. It caused a negative experience for me, because I was barely able to hear my friends and it just didn't make sense for us to be there. Totally with 1 drink per person and everything ordered it was around $60ish per person, and ultimately just too expensive for what was given. SAVE YOUR MONEY and find a more local business, and I truly believe everything here is overpriced for the quality of food you receive. It's overpriced AND THERE ARE MUCH MUCH BETTER...

UPDATE Since my original review, this place contacted me via Google Reviews (see their reply to my review below) acting as if there was genuine interest in resolving my dissatisfaction with my experience at their establishment. However, two weeks later, I have not heard back from anyone. Leads me to believe they posted the reply for others to see in an attempt to seem concerned, but their concern (if there was any) began and ended with that reply. I do not recommend this business. UPDATE

Original Review: Went to Paradise Park with my crew late Saturday night. As we walked in, we were informed immediately that the kitchen was closed but slices were available and the bar was open. Seemed reasonable until we noticed no one else was getting this disclaimer as they walked in. Grabbed a table and then headed to the bar for drinks, 3 bartenders, no line, and I’m standing there begging to get one of the bartender’s attention. I’m waving my hand, calling out “May I make a drink order”, and even moved around to the other side of the bar to get someone’s attention. Eventually, after maybe 10 minutes, I did get a bartender to notice me and I asked point blank if he could take my order after he finished making the drinks he was working on. He went to the other end of the bar and promptly started ignoring me again. My crew and I left. I had money to spend and I found an establishment around the corner that was more than willing to serve me professionally and take payment. This place didn’t make us feel welcome or valued. I am not going to speculate as to why this happened, just noting that it did. I won’t go back or recommend the...

Dog Friendly indoor. It's like bringing the outdoors indoors. Had a fun and interesting time having lunch here with my pup and family. It was like a combination of a trailer park meets colorfully vibrant city. So many things going on in one place every corner has something to make you say wow. Their menu ranges from salads, sandwiches, appetizers, but the bulk of the menu focuses on pizza. Their cocktail list is not only creative but also hilarious. I'm not sure if my starvation acted as the leading spice, but their chicken sandwich took my taste buds on a rollercoaster ride of flavors and textures I couldn't bring myself to put it down. It was a ride I never wanted to end. My "Trashy Tea" cocktail was in a presentation that left me flabbergasted. A simple can of brisk iced tea, lemon wedge, and a small bottle of lemon flavored vodka. It wasn't until after I got over the presentation that I realized no way this can equate to the quality of 13 dollars for a cocktail. I could get the ingredients for less than half. So if you grab a cocktail get more bang for your buck from one of the other ones. You're only sold on the momentary joke and novelty of that one. Atmosphere: vibrant, lively, colorful, Instagramable Food/drink: chicken sandwich was devoured in minutes. Trashy tea = daylight robbery Service: quick, attentive, welcoming Room for improvement: let the customer know that there is a automatic gratuity fee of 18%. I didn't see any sign and was informed as soon as I asked for my check and we were only a party of 3 with a pup.

Very relaxed, unique aesthetics with disco balls straight out of the 60's hanging in areas with natural sunlight, easy listening generic music Playlist. Nice enough to be catchy but not scandalous enough to deter a family. Central bar surrounded by booth style is a personal favorite of mine, coupled with being able to sling pizzas in the every elitist halls of Chicago with a mix of lightly partying social atmosphere with sports grass themed flooring in place of a traditional surface make this place as interesting to relax in as it is to eat. Speaking of the pizza is above average by a wode margin, but I will stop short of calling epic or a future legend. Be advised that they are VERY paper conscious, if you don't bring a phone for the QR code style menu, I'm not sure how ordering works. I recommend their Goat Cheeseticks and their Turkey Club. The drinks run the odd number ranging from location specials to the standard clichés we all know and love. And yes, they have the white claw. Pros: Atmosphere, seating arrangements, exotic twist on classics. Cons: Long wait time even on slow days for food, so this depends on how in a rush are you?

Paradis Park is a fantastic spot for families and adults alike. During my visit, my kids thoroughly enjoyed the cheese pizza, barbecue chicken pizza, and especially the breadsticks—an absolute must-have! As a parent, it was great to find a place where I could relax and enjoy watching the NFL playoffs while my kids had a wonderful weekend outing. The booths were very comfortable, creating a cozy dining experience. While I wish the games they used to have would make a return, the venue still provides a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. They also serve a delightful specialty drink in a fun, creative cup that I appreciated as part of the adult experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the venue was nicely heated, ensuring we stayed comfortable throughout our visit. It’s also a great place to take pictures if you’re looking to capture memories or share on social media. My last visit on Veterans Day was equally enjoyable, and I was happy to return. Paradis Park continues to be a great choice for good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and quality time with loved ones. I’m looking forward to coming back soon!
