Innjoy — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

Was there last night and started a tab went to the bar and ordered a drink told them the name on the card and they didn’t have a tab open. So I spell it out for them and the bartender tells me again I don’t have a tab open. Looks through all the cards nothing. I check my bank account on my phone and sure enough I was charged. So now they’re telling me I closed it. Which I did not! They made the mistake of closing my tab with someone else and giving that someone else my card and then are trying to blame me telling me I closed it and don’t remember. Then the narrative changes and they claim the person says the name on the card. They did refund me my money but never actually took the blame for the mistake or apologized to me for blaming me for their mistake. Seems like they need to come up with a better system for their tabs on a loud, crowded...

My friends and I were enjoying ourselves at the bar. While my friend was dancing, a man from the corner of the room came across the dance floor and groped her. My friend assumed that the man had been kicked out of the bar, but then she saw him still in the corner! My friend told the bouncer about the incident and he responded saying that he saw the incident and nothing happened. My friend then went to the bartender and he too brushed her off! The man remained in the bar and my friend ended up leaving. Apparently management isn’t too interested in the safety of their patrons. I would be cautious...

Very fun bar. However, when I was there last night to order drinks with a friend, the bartender never asked me if I wanted to leave my tab opened or closed. He closed it, left my card on the bar and made no attempt to tell me it was there. My card was used at a bar down the street and even after I let him know that he can't make such careless and stupid mistakes he never acknowledged his fault. For anyone planning to visit, you can have a fun time. I would only recommend getting your card back right away and not putting too much trust in the staff's overall...
