I sent an email over a month ago, still wanting to give you all the benefit of the doubt but can’t even do that. I haven’t heard anything yet so now I will post it was a review:
I am extremely saddened with having to send this email. I have been visiting your Jerky Jerk location for quite some time now. I have had a first date here, spent my birthday here, and have recommended you to so many people. My boyfriend and I have even considered having you all cater food for our wedding in the future. Obviously, your restaurant holds a special place in my heart. I have never had a bad experience and I am always greeted with (who I believe) is the manager. As of recently, I have had an unpleasant experience that leaves me to question if I should return.
June 19th, my mom, aunt, and I decided to visit your location. Upon arrival, we weren't sure if you all were open or not due to the Juneteenth holiday and decided to ask someone outside (who was later found out to be your chef) if you were. He responded with, "Do I look like I'm out here for my health?". I was extremely taken aback by his response and so was my family. My mom and aunt explained how they weren't sure about it being the holiday and how they thought he may have been possibly restocking for the next day. Your chef continued to be nasty and use what he claims was his "sarcasm" to us. My mom became upset and expressed to me that she didn't want to order food anymore. When your chef was asked for his name, he continued to be nasty AGAIN. My aunt and I ignored his childish behavior and continued inside the restaurant. I usually order the same meal, my aunt wasn't sure what to choose due to it being her first time there. It was also something she shared with your chef, and how he made a bad impression on her. He seemed to not care and "it's just how he is" and how “you will be back regardless”. Now our experience in the restaurant wasn't pleasant as well. My aunt felt that your cashier wasn't engaging in conversation and not taking interest that it was her first time. She came off a bit nonchalant.
Again, I am a big fan of Jerky Jerk! But my experience left me disgusted and embarrassed. My family is not interested in coming back and the customer service was just subpar and appalling. Hopefully you can change our minds...

AIN’T NO WAY THAT THIS PLACE IS OWNED BY JAMAICANS. THIS FOOD TATSE LIKE SOMEONES INTERPRETATION OF JAMAICAN FOOD. THE SERVICE WAS FINE, BUT THE CASHIER NEEDS TO TELL PEOPLE THAT THE FOOD SHE IS SUGGESTION IS AN EXTRA COST. I TOLD HER TO TAKE THE JERK TIPS OFF OF MY BILL. I ORDERED THE JERK CHICKEN (GRILLED) PLATE WITH 2 DARK MEAT AND 2 SIDES. I ALSO ADDED FRIED PLANTAINS. THE FRIED PLANTAINS WERE AN EXTRA $2 FOR 3 TOTAL. THE JERK CHICKEN (GRILLED) HAD NO FLAVOR AT ALL, THE RICE AND PEAS HAD NO FLAVOR, THE CABBAGE MOSTLY TASTE LIKE SALT.
MY MOM ORDERED THE JERK WINGS WITH MAC N CHEESE AND SHE SAID THE MAC N CHEESE TASTE LIKE BOX MAC N CHEESE. OFF VISUALS ALONE IT LOOKS LIKE VELVEETA OR DELUXE MAC. $15 for 6 WINGS AND BOX MAC AND CHEESE IS CRIMINAL!
MY SISTER ORDERED THE JERK BOWL AND SHE SAID IT WAS MID.
THE MALE COOK WAS TAKING OUT TRASH IN HIS APRON. THE BOX HE WAS CARRYING WAS LEAKING MEAT JUICE. HOW DO YOU KNOW ITS MEAT JUICE? BECAUSE THE BOX WAS LINED WITH A BLUE BAG.
IDK Y’ALL TRY FOR YOURSELVES BUT I DON’T THHINK THAT THIS PLACE IS OWNED BY JAMAICANS LET ALONE BLACK PEOPLE. As much as I hate to write this review I hated the food even more!!! I ordered the chicken dark with two sides rice & cabbage. Where do I start the rice was absolutely terrible it was hard and crunchy it literally tasted as if they poured it straight out the box onto my plate & had the nerve to fill the container with this MESS, the cabbage was not cooked also tasted like they just shredded the cabbage and served it!! Overall this meal is for the trash!! First and very last time here..........if you value your hard earned money do yourself a favor and go somewhere else cause this place is NOT AN AUTHENTIC JAMAICAN RESTAURANT I really wish I would have read the reviews first I see alot of people shared my awful experience at this so called establishment
