Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

Ordered through grubhub. The delivery person never buzzed the apartment when they arrived. They called me and I called them right back several times, but they would not answer. Afterwards, I called the the restaurant and the manager said they don't buzz apartments they just call your phone because they were afraid of a car jacking... this was a delivery to the west loop. They said the driver was on another delivery now and I would be the next delivery after that. However, 45 minutes later I never received any food. When calling the manager again I said I want a refund because I didn't want cold food sitting around for an hour in a delivery car. They refused to rectify the situation, accept any responsibility or issue a refund. The manager was extremely rude and told me to work it out with grubhub if I wanted a refund. I will not order from there again and will let others know that this is not a reputable place of business as the manager is rude, unable to rectify such issues and is not fit for customer service. I LOVE Detroit style pizza and I'll admit Jet's is one of my favorite "treat dinners" but I will say ever since they came to Chicago I sometimes am nervous about ordering because sometimes the pizzas will not be piping hot when they arrive and it's less yummy if the cheese isn't fresh and melty. I used to live near the Armitage location and order from them and the pizza was delicious but sometimes I'd have to reheat it at home.

THAT SAID, the last three times I've ordered from the Jet's location on North Avenue the pizza has been some of the most delicious pizza I've ever eaten. Super fresh, still hot when it arrives, and with melty cheese like it just came out of the oven and a delicious, buttery crust. I don't know if the restaurant or employees will see this but I wanted to review them, anyway, because I thought they should get some kind of props for being such a good Jet's location. 10/10. Super delicious pizza. Highly reccomend the turbo crust and ordering your pizza...

this review is for this particular location, not the food as I love jets pizza. i called and placed an order for pickup and when I arrived at the proper time the woman at the register said that no one had taken my order and that there was no ticket. She questioned if i even placed it at the right location (which i did). She offered no help in trying to get my original order replaced and was actually very rude considering the fact that it was their mistake. I understand businesses occasionally make mistakes so I could let this go if the customer service was not so bad on top of it. I immediately left and placed an order at the Ashland location and have never had problems there. It's a shame because I do love Jet's Pizza and this is thr closest location to my house but unfortunately I will never be visiting this...
