Jus Chick-Hen Inc — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

My mom chose this restaurant to order wings for her birthday gathering. We'd never ordered from here before. She called in advance for pricing and said the communication was good and the guy she spoke with was friendly. When I got to the restaurant I was greeted. The restaurant waiting area is small. It was clean. The guy at the window was friendly and professional. My mom ordered 50 wings for a total of $83 and some change. They were ready when I got there. The wings did not come with fries. I ordered a pan of fries while there.They were a little more than $13.The chicken was very fresh and tasted good. My only complaint is the price for 50 wings that come with no fries. But if you order smaller quantities, it comes with fries. At least that's what the menu in the restaurant says. We were better off ordering 2 20pcs and a 12pc. The fries would have been free. My mom said the guy on the phone did not tell her that. Also we only got 2 sauces for 50pcs of chicken. By the time 20 wings were eaten the sauce was gone. I'd go here again but it's not a place I'm itching to...

This is a black owned establishment. I really like this place the food is always fresh and good. I have never had to wait a long time for my order. The catfish is very good and is real catfish. The wings are always good, the eggrolls are delicious and I’ve tried them all. The deep fried jerk taco was surprisingly good and they give a good portion size too. My only issue with this place is the bbq sauce is so good but they never put enough on my food. Their menu prices are very comparative to almost any other restaurant. This is a take out only place so there is no seating. It is a clean place and you can smell the freshness in the air. I have been a customer for 4-5 years and the food quality has been consistent. First time customers. The gentleman who took our order was nice and the cook was nice. Food was hot & fresh! My wife and I ordered a Buffalo Chicken egg roll, Jerk Chicken egg roll, veggie egg roll & a 5 pc Mixed fried chicken. I didn’t taste the veggie egg roll but the Buffalo & Jerk Chicken egg rolls were pretty good 7.5/10 I asked for a 5pc mixed and they gave me a 5 pc dark😡 The chicken was seasoned & Fried pretty good! It was also juicy. I just wished they would’ve given me my correct order🤷🏾‍♂️ 7/10 for the chicken. 8/10 all in all.
