Walking into Monday Coffee instantly sets the mood. The space has this cool, modern vibe—minimalist design, soft lighting, and open space that feels both stylish and comfortable. It’s the kind of spot where you want to sit for a while, whether you’re catching up with a friend, reading, or just enjoying some time to yourself. I ordered a Caramel Latte, and it was excellent—smooth, perfectly balanced, and just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the coffee. You can really tell they put care into every drink. What I loved most, though, was the atmosphere. It’s more than a coffee shop—it’s a community space. People were hanging out, playing chess, and enjoying the energy of the room. It felt welcoming, like the kind of place you’d want to return to again and again. If you’re looking for great coffee, a laid-back but creative vibe, and a space that feels genuinely inviting, Monday Coffee is the spot.

This is an awesome lil coffee shop on the west side a bit of a walk from the pink line right on 16th st. It’s just near the edge of Douglass Park. Cool chairs and atmosphere and very friendly service! I had a Monday Romano and it was lemony and awesome.

Better than Starbucks and a great vibe with tasty treats. I had the cold brew and goat cheese herb croissant. After this I am ready for what the day brings

Step into the beautiful space at Monday coffee and you will feel the buzz of community and the smell of roasted beans. I love this coffee shop, you can taste the hospitality in every drink and the entire vibe of the shop. One it is stunningly designed, almost something out of a museum, with tons of natural light pouring in.

As for beverages, the cardamom brown sugar latte (5/5) is a number one stunner. I love that it’s crafted with oat milk for my non Dairy queens. Also do not sleep on the passion fruit lemonade(5/5), it is so vibrant and so sunny and tastes like summer in a cup. I can’t wait to go back and get the lemonade with a shot of espresso in it (don’t knock it til you try it.)

The hospitality, as i mentioned runs deep! Amanda, one of the owners, helped me to my car with four drinks in the middle of Saturday rush when they ran out of cup holders. So kind...

I just moved into this neighborhood a few years ago and this neighborhood just like other neighborhoods in poor areas don't have that many options to get goods and when this coffee shop broke ground I was talking to the owner and he was talking about this coffee shop is going to be a pillar of the community and that there going to be events and other things that has escaped my memory. But I'm very disappointed in the owner and the coffee shop most of the ppl are on welfare and can't afford coffee for 4 bucks and up and they only take card which is good for security purposes but most people in my neighborhood only have cash so once again the poor...
