I placed an order online, arrived at the restaurant, and was told they couldn’t fulfill my entire order because they had run out of food. This was at 10 PM, despite the location being open until 1 AM. I can’t understand why more food couldn’t be prepared. Inside, the employees were unprofessional, using profanity and arguing about whose responsibility it was to fix the issue. No one took ownership of my prepaid order through the app.
After finally getting what little food they could provide, we got home to find it completely inedible. The chicken and everything else were so disgusting that none of us could eat it—I wouldn’t even give it to my dog. To make matters worse, the restaurant was filthy. If I hadn’t already paid, I wouldn’t have taken anything from there. It’s clear someone needs to inspect this place, and I’m shocked it’s still operating. I’m beyond frustrated, disappointed, and feel like my money was completely wasted. No one should ever eat here.
Now, let’s talk about the employees. They’re completely incompetent. You have to repeat your order five times, and they still get it wrong, only to tell you they don’t have the item. They’re always out of food, nothing is ever ready, and they’re rude on top of that. Worse, you’re forced to wait 20 to 30 minutes while they finish their personal conversations. I ended up knowing all about Tom, Dick, and Harry—who doesn’t like who, whose baby mama or baby daddy is cheating, and who’s pregnant by cousin Ray Ray. It’s ridiculous.
If your employees don’t want to work, hire people who do, or just shut this location down. The place is disgusting, and it’s clear the staff either hate their jobs or don’t care to do them. If you’re okay paying people to do nothing, that’s your problem, but this location needs to be closed. After reading all the reviews below mine, it’s obvious management isn’t listening to the customers. I ordered online and picked up through the drive through only to be told the order had to be picked up inside. They closed the drive thru and my husband went inside to get our order. He waited over 20 minutes only to be told they didn't have my order and they couldn't do anything about it. I had to go in there and ask them to give me my money back if they didn't wanna give me my order. I showed my receipt with the address and the paid order. Only then was I given my food. At that point I didn't even want the food anymore. To top it off they did my order incorrect. There were more than 5 workers there and they shut down the drive through. Lazy and unprofessional workers it shouldn't take more than 20 minutes per order. Very poor hygiene, the dining area was filthy, so was the food area. I asked her to make my order fresh. I couldn’t hear her. She asked me my drink I name the drink that wasn’t there, I asked her can she tell me what they have to drink? She was very hesitant to tell me in a low tone she started naming the drinks I just went with the first thing she said. Receive my food after about 17 minutes of pulling up to Popeyes excited and hungry I open my sandwich it was not fresh. Continued to eat it because I was hungry and I went to open my red beans and rice. My rice was hard like plastic a health risk. I had drove away at this point but I returned because I needed my full course meal for $9.73. I walked in.
