Star Gyros — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I normally order through uber eats and the food is decent!! Never had bad experiences with them. I was in the area and wanted to pick up. I called around midnight and this woman put me on hold for over 5 minutes (I understand it was late, and it can get busy, I work in a restaurant myself. I didn’t mind waiting) but then no hello or nothing once they got on the phone. “What do you want” she was rushing to get my order out the way. We ordered 3 separate things and after every item, she would say “10.50..” “21.70..” “what else” not even letting me finish my sentences trying to rush. Finally after saying my items she said “ok” and hung up. Couldn’t even say thank you, or even know my full total. All that interrupting me telling me my total after every item and in the end I never knew what it was. I knew what I wanted and I wasn’t being complicated or taking too long. They just couldn’t handle a 30 second order. I would never treat a customer like this no matter the conditions. I normally don’t care for reviews but if customer service matters to you this place doesn’t give it. As someone who works in the food industry as well this conversation could have went smoother with a simple hello how can I help you and just simply letting me read the order I had written down without interrupting. The staff here are very rude. I will never ever spend money here again! Cashier was counting his draw down, so I asked if they were closing and done taking orders. He says yeah. I respond, well wait, I have a call in order. He waved me off and didn't respond. Another guy walks up and says he was there to pick up an Uber eats order and the cashier again waved him off and shook his head no. Two more people came to the front while I was still waiting and I asked both people about my order. The next thing I know, the manager starts speaking in Arabic, to the cashier, while pointing at me and frowning. Needless to say, I told them to keep the order because they were rude. I would give no stars if I could. I'm going to be honest Them Indiana's have no idea how to make America food Who ever gave them this place is Worth less don't give them your money at all.
