This was a little bit of Mexico in Chicago. The atmosphere the decor, the little plastic plates to the way that garden does the tortillas and the hot peppers were served. Just all reminded us of a restaurant in Mexico City. I just have two suggestions for the restaurant. The Carnitas and tortillas get cold too fast on the table because they are uncovered., I would just suggest to buy those Mexican tortilla holders to keep the tortillas warm. and to keep the Carnitas in aluminum foil as is traditional for take out. The second observation is that the price of non-alcoholic drinks like the Horchata were on the high side. If I go down the street and ask for a large drink, I will get nearly a liter worth of a drink the same price. Lastly, the salsas need more kick otherwise offer mild and hot. Nonetheless, neither of these things will keep us from coming back again. We really enjoyed ourselves and everything was delicious.

Absolutely delicious. Made the trip from Brookfield to check out their new spot. The owner was so nice and checked in with us a few times, the staff are all super friendly and appear to love their job. Overall great atmosphere and vibe! Amazing food, everything we tried was delicious (carnitas, botana, horchata cafe, the salsas were chef’s kiss). We picked up some more to go on our way out and to take some to my in laws and they threw in some extra. Plus some Mexican candy which was a great touch. Can’t wait to be back!

Let me say we only tried this place because it was next to our favorite taco joint! The place is new and nicely designed, but the carnitas are descent at most, and the salsas were average.. Me and the wife had better tasting carnitas in the local supermarkets in our area in the burbs. The portions were nice for the plate we ordered, and I also tried the tacos Dorados.. What a disappointing meal we had.

Wonderful food and service experience in a vibrant setting.

The carnitas were perfectly cooked and served with a multitude of toppings and salsas.

Drinks were delicious and nicely presented.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated making you feel like you are in an colonial city in Mexico.

Our server, Susanna. was very attentive and checked on us regularly. One of the owners went table to table to greet customers and check on peoples' experience.

I highly recommend the restaurant for an amazing weekend brunch experience with family and friends.

Parking is not an issue as the restaurant owns two lots...
