I'd deduct one star for being a magnet for people looking for a fight and a second one for being a head-quarters for panhandlers and peddlers. They have security, which is alarming that they need one, but they're almost always there for decoration. Security there has a tendency of befriending the regulars. I buy here but I won't stick around because there's almost always someone on their phone trying to order and talk to their friend at the same time about that one person they "smashed" the previous night. That or someone's banging on the counter yelling for service as the employees scramble to attend as many people as they can. I do stick around longer if I have to buy something from the adjacent gas station. A couple of the employees will admit that American English is not their first language but they defend themselves with their Kitchen-English. If you're courteous in your transaction they're ALWAYS sweethearts. I've seen, more often then not, customers walk in with a rough attitude ready to fight for their right to eat a dollar sandwich. They rarely get my order wrong. I see them get other folks orders wrong A LOT because the customer starts an indecisive line of questioning by thinking out loud. It really sets them back when they have to void an entire order and start from scratch. It sets them even farther back when customers asks question like "why'd she get her food first?!" when it is in actuality only one sandwich versus a meal for five. I believe that they do what they can in terms of speed of service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. I'm a lot more patient than most folk. From what I see, it's not their fault they get poor ratings. The surrounding demographic really does not cooperate with service industry workers. The less tolerant employees usually end up arguing with the more annoying regulars as they're demanded to buzz bathrooms open, give out immediate cups of water, and the occasional demand from the thirstiest guy with his pants hanging under his butt trying to get an...
Read moreI took my brother and his girlfriend to girlfriend to McDonald's drive-through. they were using the McDonald's app. They both had a free big Mac since they downloaded the app. However they have separate accounts. I went through the drive-through and gave them the Codes.. the mobile codes. They only gave me my brothers and refused to give me my brother girlfriend order. She went to go get her manager and she said she didn't see the order but my order said it went through. I showed her there codes on different phones.. When they told me they didn't see the order they told me to get out of the line.. So I changed the drive-through to curbside and they didn't come. So I went back through drive-through and gave them the code again.. And then I dealt with the same woman and she refused to give me the burger. The Burger was behind the screen the whole time the time and they were acting like they didn't have it. the man behind her said just give it to her and she was speaking in Spanish. thought I didn't understand and put up the finger one Talking to him in Spanish like I only supposed to get 1 deal but these are for different people. And I told her give me my food and she handed it to me with a stink face and and I drove away. What's supposed to be about a few minutes took almost a hour just to get 2 big macs for 2 different people. No one can finesse the system like that. with the app you can only get 1 deal per person every 15 minutes. however this was not the case and I was...
Read moreThis morning I purchased food for myself and my children. I made it half way home and realized my order wasn't complete. I pulled back through the drive through and before disputing anything I handed my receipt to the young lady at the window and asked her how many hash browns should they have given me, she confirmed so I told her my order wasn't complete. I expressed how I had just complimented the great customer service they exhibited but also how much of an inconvenience this was to return and how it never fails that Mcdonald's screw up no matter the location. At least from my experiences. The manager, male, maybe Indian guy told me that he fixed my food and he knew that he placed the correct amount of food in the bag, as if to say I was lying. And, still he wouldn't fix it. I then became upset because not only did they screw up my order, I had to turn around after almost making it home. I pulled all the food out of the bag and put everything in the window. He called the police at this point. I was livid after walking into Mcdonald's and the manager wouldn't correct my order nor did he refund my money after I asked him to. I was at this location an entire hour! Watched him service other customers and TOTALLY disregarded my issue. Police finally arrived after an hour and I received a corrected order. I will NEVER patronize this store again as long as Im walking...
