the beelove cafe — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I have been going to the Beloved Cafe since the Fall of 2021. I have enjoyed the consistent quality customer service throughout the years, amazing food, great place to study and read books/play board games. I cannot count how many times I have ran into friends, mentors, entrepreneurs, and event organizers throughout the west and south side of Chicago. It is a coffee shop that I have prayed for years prior to its beginning. Trust me, if you live near this coffee shop, it is much better and convenient than getting coffee from downtown or the IMD. Not only that, it has a free book shelf to collect and merchandise that is quality. In addition, the North Lawndale Employment Network is very accommodating to people looking for a job, or a better way of life, as well as banking with Wintrust. Fabulous coffee shop providing jobs in our neighborhood (and saving the bees) sure, but have you tried the food? Because we’ve lived nearby for years and only just tried the Sloppy Moe sandwich, and it was so good my eyes filled with tears. I think I saw God’s face when I was eating the Sloppy Moe. Is this what a sloppy joe is supposed to taste like? Seasoned the boots down, I’d slap my own mother for this recipe. Every bite is flawless. This is the kind of true neighborhood cafe I miss, where you can go and be by yourself, or go with friends and/or colleagues, and no matter what the social situation, it's all good. Beyond that, the service is really authentic, I heard the customer in front of me have an actual, honest conversation about the best beverage to order based on her preferences, on seasonality, and on what the front-of-house would recommend.
