Bare with me on this, so for the long story,
I ordered a Giant Italian Club online for pickup. Unfortunately, half of my sandwich was missing (it was a 16 inch sub). Part of this is on me, as I could've told my wife the size when my wife picked it up. She was nice enough to pick it up on the way home while I was passing Halloween candy. I reached out to the store (called the # on the receipt and spoke to someone (I thought was lady) who was polite and offered for me to go into the store to correct the order or two free combos to make up for it if I gave her my information. This was appreciated.
So I went back today claim the combos (next day), my experience was very different. The employee at the counter was hostile right from the start. I explained the order was wrong, and the person on the phone took my name and number, and just to tell the person at the counter and they could look it up. The dudes immediate reaction, I could tell he was not believing my story and treating me in that manner. He was focused on who answered the phone, I told him I thought it was a lady, but insisted it couldn't be. At that point, it felt like he was trying to escalate the situation. I am too old to waste my energy over a sandwich. I could tell he was not having a good day, and said, cool its not worth it over a sandwich to him. I didn't do it in a disrespectful manner, more of just trying to deescalate the situation (I work in the service industry as well). As I started to walk out, he says "that is what I thought, the sandwich must've been good if you came back" At this point I am pretty sure he is trying to start something. While I tried to remain calm and try to my order details, hoping he realize I wasn't lying, the employee told me to "get the phone out of his face" even though I was standing at the counter just holding it up, and he was making a sandwich (5+ feet away). It was crazy surreal to me as I don't think I ever seen anyone so hostile immediately. I felt unwelcome and decided it wasn’t worth an argument, so I left.
For the record, I never raised my voice, or said anything in a disrespectful manner to him. I am not sure if people are trying to scam sandwiches or what, but going 0 to 100 like that on a customer is crazy to me. I left the receipt incase he does actually want to look at the order I placed as I could tell he thought I was lying.
I don’t want to disparage the entire store based on this interaction, as mistakes happen, and I've generally liked Jimmy John’s in the past. However, the lack of basic courtesy and hospitality I experienced was disappointing. Customer service makes a difference, and this particular experience left me feeling like I wasn’t valued as a customer. I hope this feedback helps with future training and interactions. I won't be going back to any Jimmy Johns in the future. I don't like to leave negative reviews, I might have done 2 in the past 10 years. Typically not worth the time, I just stop going there, but the employee went out of his way to make the experience terrible. I hope you get some help man, but taking it on your customers is not...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at this Jimmy John’s location. The service was rushed, and the meat on my sandwiches was poorly assembled, hanging sloppily out of the bread. The employee rushed through my order without asking if I wanted any condiments. When I requested condiments, he walked me over to the large menu and pointed them out one by one, which was unnecessarily time-consuming and frustrating.
To make matters worse, when I asked for the condiments, he snatched everything off the sandwich and hastily remade it. At no point did he change his gloves, despite handling both the register and the wall menu — a clear food safety concern.
As a new customer and someone who regularly orders lunch for my organization, I was hoping for a much better experience. Unfortunately, this visit has made me hesitant to return to this location or recommend it to others. I hope management addresses these issues to improve service and cleanliness...

I never had a problem with the people working there, if they normally forgot something they always send one right away. This time was different, never had and issue. Not with the food it was great, but with the driver...He was very rude, never had to sign for something didn't tell me why then said well are you going to sign it and to tell you I never had to sign anything before. Went in back into my house to sign in and closed the porch door, then he slammed it open with his knee. Kept staring at me until I walked in the other room before coming back out his looking around inside my porch. Gave him the what he wanted and left saying something and laughing.
