Braza Chicken Rotisserie and Grill — Restaurant in West Columbia

I made a purchase earlier in the week and was dissatisfied for after I got home I realize that my ordered plantains were not in my bowl. Also, I could count the pieces of steak in my bowl down to 3 1/2 pieces. I took a picture. I called back to the establishment and spoke with one of the Employees and was told to return at my convenience and speak with the manager. By the end of the week I had time to return to the restaurant. I requested to speak with the manager. The manager was very polite in his approach. I explained to him my concern with my previous purchase earlier in the week. I then showed him a photo of the bowl, as well as my receipt for what I had ordered. The manager asked, “which bowl would you like?” I responded this time, “a chicken bowl with yellow rice, plantains and green beans. Upon, receiving my bowl (free of charge), I was more than grateful and expressed my gratitude . I must admit, my bowl was perfect. It was more than what I initially expected. Thank you for providing excellent customer service. I will forever be a Braza Chicken...

I’m going to be very long winded but please hear me out. The Rotisserie Chicken business has exploded over the last 10 years especially Peruvian. When this place opened up in Columbia I was super excited as coming from VA with famous places like Super Chicken and Super Rico the standard is great. The standard sauces that come with these dishes is a yellow and green sauce. When my order was completed I asked the young lady how many sauces were in the bag she said none. I was perplexed and she told me they cost .48 cents each because it cost to make them. Ummmmm it cost to make everything. If you have a good green / yellow sauce people will buy more chicken but yall giving people chicken with ketchup. Would I have had the option for sauce if I didn’t ask ? Unacceptable. Also the menu is to vast focus on selling birds and sauce and you will have a line out the door. First time last time I and get the feeling many people will feel the same. 2 stars for the staff on hand but if management is making these cheap decisions that alter customer experience it...

I went here because it appeared in my Yelp…but it only had 7 5-star reviews. In my head, I thought “the owner and their friends”. But, I like Colombian food…and was looking for something other than a burger.

I ordered the 1/4 chicken with rice and beans…which is an appropriately sized for a normal person (I say that, because I was a little worried it might not be enough even though I am watching what I eat). The meal with drink was $16.

I would put this in the higher level than fast food, but not sit down…but the pricing doesn’t suggest that in my opinion. The chicken had great flavor…just a little on the too done side (barely…mind you I was in really late). The rice and beans were excellent. I noticed a cute sign above the cash register that basically said everything was home made…it actually tasted like it.

The negative is that it is a remodeled Wendy’s. I wish they were in a better location/venue and treated it like a sit down. But, when I think I go to Chick-fil-A and with drink I am at the same price…this was much...
