Bagel House — Restaurant in West Deptford Township

Bagel house is a tiny hidden NJ gem! Located in West Deptford NJ, this is a must try! 📝Description/Tips: When you first walk in it is like any other convince store, they sell Nic-nacs like any other store! 

If you head towards the back you’ll find a coffee area. It is fresh and they provide cream and sugar. 
If you head over to the cashier, to the left, you’ll find two tiny computer screens - this is where you’ll order. 
At first I made the mistake of going up to the cashier and trying to order - he then explained to me where to order. 
Once you order you’ll get your receipt and then you can on over to the cashier and pay for your food. 
They have soda for 99cents and other drinks you can purchase as well! 
I got my usual (plain bagel with egg whites and cheese) but they have a variety of bagels! My husband got the jalapeño bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and he LOVED it. It was fresh and spicy (exactly how he likes it lol) 
Now the home fries… they are something to rave about. They are DELICIOUS 🤤 One of the bests (in my opinion) 
Not too spicy, cooked perfectly and savory.
These are a MUST try! They come in a small container (what I got) and a large container. ⭐️ Rating: my overall rating of this store would be a 4/5 why? I am a picky bagel eater lol although I do love their bagels, they are my go to when my OTHER store is closed LOL 💸 Price Range: not to bad! Definitely affordable (especially in this world where everything is expensive) 👀 Cons: hard to find.. the location is a little hard to find, it is right by (or I would even say in) a neighborhood! I would say it looks a little “sketchy” but all the best places are.. aren’t they? LOL!

We finally decided to try the Bagel Place & we’re glad we did.

The store is clean, neat & well lit. They have a nice variety of basic staples as well as candies & treats. The men behind the counter were friendly & polite.

There’s an impressive array of bagels & lunchmeats. Oddly enough we didn’t buy any bagels.

The menu of cooked foods is extensive & includes burgers, fries, Tex mex sandwiches & a lot more. Definitely something for every age & taste. They also offer smoothies & shakes.

You order from an electronic tablet & the food is made fresh to order.

I ordered the cheese quesadilla & added avocado. It was perfectly made with just the right amount of cheese. The avocado was smooth & creamy. It was served with a generous amount of sour cream & salsa.

The salsa was perfect. It was very fresh, a perfect combination of chopped onions, tomatoes & cilantro. Not at all like the soupy stuff you get from a jar. I’m not a fan of cilantro, but this had such a bright, fresh flavor. The best I’ve ever had!

I had an order of onion rings which were fried perfectly. No problem of the onion & breading separating. There were enough for 2 servings.

My husband had the fish & chips. Everything was cooked to a perfect golden brown with the right proportion of breading to fish. Not the typical thick breading that makes you feel cheated on the fish. The fries were crispy on the outside & creamy on the inside as all fries should be.

He also ordered a Oreo cookie shake. Liked it very much. Smooth & just the right thickness to drink with a straw.

Me and the wife love places like this have nothing but great things to say. First odeared the breakfast belly buster wow the meat was fresh the eggs were cooked just right and the flavor bagel was on point. Let's talk about the bagel flavors so many original ideas it was hard to choose just one. Order on a kios just like wawa but super user freindly. Wife got a buffalo chicken wrap again cooked just right and the size was amazing. Prices were good not great but for the economy we are in it was good and don't mind paying a few Xtra dollars for the size and the quality of food. This place all around is a go too for now on. Excited to try all there yummy treats. Big shout out to the wife for finding this place. Definitely highly recommend and 100% will be going back. Fast service freindly people amazing food. You can not go wrong with this place I promise you all that.. Five stars all...
