Hey there, food enthusiasts! Let me take you on a savory journey to China House in Woodbury – a gem I've cherished for many moons. In the wake of the pandemic, our beloved Chinese eateries took a hit, and China House wasn't spared. But guess what? They're back, baby! While the indoor dining vibe is alive again, it's not the full-service extravaganza we used to relish. You'll find yourself sauntering up to the main counter to place your order, and then, voila, your feast arrives with plastic forks as the cherry on top. Now, I must admit, I miss the elegance of those delicate teapots and those adorable little porcelain cups that made every sip of tea feel like a royal affair. Oh, and let's not forget those noodles dipped in that luscious orange sauce – absolute perfection! Despite the slight detour from full-service glory, China House remains a solid culinary haven. The flavors? Always on point. The ambiance? Welcoming and warm. And the service, though altered, still carries the essence of hospitality we adore. Here's to hoping they reclaim their throne of full-service magnificence soon! Once they do, mark my words, China House will easily ascend to a glorious five-star status. Until then, let's raise our plastic forks in appreciation of this culinary haven that continues to stand tall amidst the storm. Cheers to China House – a true taste bud triumph!

We have ordered food from this Restaurant for over 15 years, last night might be the last time. This is the second time I ordered fried rice first with shrimp (skimpy portion), they second with Chicken, same result. The worst of it was there was NOTHING that resembled fried rice at all other than rice and soy with a bit of white onion, I did find two bean sprouts. Totally missing, green scalllion, carrot, egg, peas. Chicken Lo Mein consisted of chicken and noodle with soy, a small portion of canned mushrooms, missing snow peas, sprouts, peppers. No other veggies at all for flavor or color. The egg rolls where devoid of shrimp and a rolled ball of cabbage. Wonton soup is missing the filling, the wonton was not even a thubnail of filler and a big wrapped wonton. I understand this is a difficust time for many establishments but peas and carrots don't cost that much. If you can't put shrimp in the eggroll, stop offering them for sale. We will not be returning here for quite some time as it was a total dissapointment. I would not recommend this restaurant any longer.

First time ordering here, I ordered beef chow fun I received beef mei fun. Very disappointed, I called and was told that they only have Mei fun. Never had chow fun. She said everyone knows that. I told her this is my first time going here and I didn't know that. And mei fun means skinny noodles. I want wide noodle. Then she processed to give me a vocabulary lesson on Mei fun. telling me i was wrong. HOW RUDE!!! Then to top it off, there was hardly any beef in my dinner. I do not recommend. Poor everything
